I hate it, I asked my ob and she had no issues with using proactiv though. Said there aren't many studies done on it and that's the only reason it's not recommend but that there isn't proof of anything bad occuring.
I'm lucky and acne hasn't been a huge issue for me other than the occasional big, deep, and painful thing. I've been using neutrogena naturals face wash and exfoliating on a regular basis. It seems to work on my face. The rest of my body... that's a different story.
Mine has gotten better the last couple weeks but I still have a few of those lingering under the skin huge painful zits. They seriously last forever.
I usually use an acne wash, moisturizer, etc but switch to Clinique's 3 step system when pregnant and it works ok for me. I still get zits, but I usually do anyways.
I've never really broken out, except for when I'm pregnant taking progesterone. So I have been concealing the heck out of my face lately. Which I'm sure is only making it worse...
My face has never broken out like this before. I just ordered the Belli Acne Face Wash and spot treatment through Ulta's website. I've read lots of reviews and it seems to work for many. FX that it works for me too!
I've been on Belli for about 4 weeks now and I thought it was doing something, but I'm thinking not so much. I'll finish up my face wash and then see what else I can move on to. I'm willing to try anything at this point.
I'm using Trader Joe's face wash with tea tree oil and then straight tea tree oil (from target) on a q-tip for spot treatments. It can be super drying so I also moisturize, but it does work!
I started getting horrible acne. I was so embarassed. I ordered belli. Didn't seem to work at all for me. So I bought kiss my face exfoliating wash, and the botanical acne gel. It's working so far.
I had horrible breakouts that started as soon as I got my BFP and lasted until a few days ago (I'm now 9 weeks). Nothing worked and it was awful.
When I washed my face this morning, I was so thrilled to see that the breakouts have nearly disappeared! Hopefully my skin stay clear, but just wanted to give some hope that the breakouts could be short lived.
