Do they come with an ice pack or do you buy one separately?

They don't come with an ice pack. At least the one I have didn't. But they do have a pocket inside where you can fit one.

We were given the monkey one as a gift and it had a monkey ice pack inside but maybe the person that gave it to us did that as an extra.

I got DD the penguin lunch pail and the zebra back pack!!! So cute. I think the ice pack must be separate. I was just looking on the Skip Hop website and it just says the inside pocket is suitable for an ice pack or utensils. That would be cool if it came with!

Now for my first world problem.
I want the Mouse but it's not on Prime, they have it at B&N online but my parents let thier membership expire so I don't have free express shipping anymore. My second choice the Ladybug is on prime. I'm torn if the Mouse is worth the extra shipping.

Do they have it in store to pick up?

Does she have the backpack? We use the backpacks way more than the lunch bag. We get so much use out of it that it is worth the extra to get the one you want. I got Leo's fox backpack from B&N because Amazon didn't have it and I really wanted the fox.

Does the backpack hold an ice pack to keep food cold? She needs it for the toddler room because they don't have a refrigerator and we are going to send her with homemade lunches.

If you are packing a big lunch, I would get the back pack and just get an ice pack for inside. The lunch pails are pretty small. They are good for a few bottles and a snack but not for a full day of food. I have both and use both though, so it's really up to you.

PS the mouse is effing adorable.

They provide all the snacks so it's just for her main meal.

We got the dog one at his baby shower. A girlfriend stuffed all her gifts in it. We pack his stuff in it when we go to grandma and grandpas for the weekend
