@miss50 how did your second interview go?!  I am still waiting to hear from my old employer.  I need to be patient since here I am saying I'm "still" waiting when it's been 2.5 days, ha.

Also, didn't know  you were in IL also!  I hope we're not going for the same job, LOL!  ;)

    Second interview went awesome...or so I thought. I was suppose to get an answer by noon Friday. Here it is Wednesday and still nothing.  Weekend RUINED.  I interviewed with an old company and was asked to do all the drug screenings already but we will have to agree on hours and salary before I take the job.

    I'm really sad about the first job, but hoping that I didn't get it for a reason.  I have since written them a letter thanking them for the opportunity but still no response.

    Thank you so much for asking.  I was hoping we could have celebratory drinks soon.  ;)

    Keep me updated and Ill do the same.

    PS..... Not at all the same job.  That'd be a loooonnnggg commute.

    @miss50 I'm sorry you never heard from the first place, but maybe they are taking awhile and will still call this week??

    I am sweating bullets over here.  I interviewed last Thursday.  The hiring manager told me they were going to meet on Monday (so this past Monday) to talk about who would make it to the next round, so I was hoping to hear something yesterday.  I really hope I hear something this week or like you, my weekend will be ruined.  The wondering/waiting is killing me and I am so impatient.  I'll be at church today at lunch praying for both of us!

    @mommap12....thanks for the prayers!  I need it.  I hope they aren't waiting the week expecting me to start on Monday the 7th.  I don't know if I could do that leaving my place now with no notice.  They had an intern/temp working for them.  I am sure they thought it would be easier for everyone to hire her.  I understand, but would have at least liked a call back/email/SOMETHING.

    I wish you the best of luck.  Being happy is the most important regardless of pay.  That's is what I hope for you.  And if a decent living comes out of it...even better.  I need someone to pay for my drinks in chitown!  ;)

    @JAM828...I was thinking someone would ask me to take it down by now.  Nope, so up the scary clown goes.  29 days and counting.

    Thank you @Sahara78.  I'd easy take it down if someone were honestly freaked out. 

    I watched the movie when I was 8 I think.  They showed it on ABC.  My mother collected clowns for me and I couldn't sleep in my room for a while.  The clown picture would constantly star at me.
