MaterniT21 and NT Scan results.. PHEW!

Both tests (got results back from MaterniT same day as scan) came back fine!
Feel like I can breathe a sigh of relief and really start planning for this pregnancy. YEAH  So excited!

We decided not to find out the sex since this will probably be our only child, bring on the yellow and green stuff!  :-)

    Great news! I can relate to the feeling of relief you are experiencing. I felt a huge weight lifted after my results for those tests. This will probably also be our only child but I did decide to find out the sex. I am not good at waiting.

    Congratulations!!  I know that test is on my list of to-do items.  Does anyone know how early you can get that test done?

    Congrats! I felt the same relief when I got my results. We are not finding out the sex either and this will also like be our one and only. Go team green!

    Congratulations. All the success stories keep me hopeful, but I'm still very reluctant to be excited about this pregnancy until I get all my tests. It really bothers me when my husband kisses my tummy. I keep telling him I won't feel excited till the results come in. I know this is selfish, but I do not think I can cope with another special needs child at this time in my life. We've gone through some crap and I'm still battling depression so these impending tests are both a curse and relief. Not sure which one, yet.

    Thanks ladies!  I think it finally sunk in with my husband to, he even told his boss that we were pregnant yesterday!  GL to all those waiting

    @lorifromwl There are a few of the same tests but under different names.  Not sure beyond the name what they vary by, but for the MaterniT21 test I had my blood drawn at 10.5 weeks.  You can have it done later, but if you want or need to find out that information as soon as possible I think 10 weeks is as early as the fetal DNA is detectable.
    the other tests are Harmony and Verifi that I know of.

    Thanks Steph!  I just haven't gotten to that part of my research yet!  Seems like I have a lot less free time since I just want to go to sleep when I get home from work!  Of course, then I'm up at 2am!
