Newly pregnant and have questions!?!

Can any one please help. My husband and I just fount our we are expecting after 2 years trying. I work at a child care facility and am not too sure if its ok to pick my kids up or even the cots they sleep on?

I know it might sound silly but I am so afraid to do something wrong.. Help please!!! Thank you in advance...

I wouldn't pick up the kids being that the your in your first trimester and some docs will give you "lifting" limit. Hope this helps. Congrats!!!

The general rule is.. If you're used to doing it before pregnancy and its something your body is acclimated to, you're ok to keep doing it. Congratulations!!

I have two kids, weighing 30 and 35 lbs respectively. I pick them up everyday. You can continue to live life normally. Is there some kind of medical reason why you wouldn't be able to pick a child up?

Some docs will tell you 20-25 pounds, but that is a dead lift. Children tend to help a little. Also, the weight limit is often only imposed if you have spotting. Call your doc!
