Ok, so I've gladly rocked Jackson to bed every night. I've loved every moment of it. Lately he's been waking up more often and the second I hold him he goes back to sleep. I'm exhausted. Tonight I let him CIO, we cuddled for a little while before I put him in bed. He cried for maybe 5 minutes and fell asleep. He doesn't even have his paci because I didn't want go in there and him want me to hold him. Please tell me he's not going to be mad at me? That this is normal. I think my heart hurts more than it's affecting him. I know when DD comes I can't rock both of them to sleep.

I never thought i could do CIO...but you know what? I did. It was the right thing for us at the time, and DS being able to put himself to sleep is STILL the right choice for us 18m later.

And I promise he will still love you in the morning

Thank You Ladies, He slept so much better and so did I. Win Win. I have been pretty grumpy with my lack of sleep and with pregnancy hormones that is never a fun combination for others around me.

) He didn't look at me crazy or mad. If anything I think he was even more excited to see me. Maybe that's me thinking that way so I feel a little better. hehe But I can't have 2 babies up at night once DD comes so I have about 4 months to perfect this.
