We got a NextFit. It is really difficult to strap my LO into this seat. I'm annoyed and it stresses me because it always makes her cry and protest. Why can't they have a mechanism that holds the straps out of the way while getting the baby in the seat? I'm sure they would get sued because some dummy would forget to buckle their kid in. But seriously. It's hard to get her in there! Maybe I'm just moronic.
Re: I suck at strapping LO in
Which part is giving you a hard time?
I was about to suggest them.
FWIW, we had issues with the infant carrier straps when DS was really little.
No issues with our convertible seat though.
I don't have the nextfit, but I have a britax boulevard and at first it was really hard to get her in. I ended up taking the padding off the straps because it was just too much. DD is tiny and all that stuff just bulked up.
Its gotten easier though. DD still resists at times, and gets upset when I go digging for the straps, but she usually settles right away.
Hang in there... hopefully it will get better.
