Dumb pregnancy question

Sorry for the dumb pregnancy question, but I don't go over to March '14, and I'm much more comfortable asking here.  When did you feel your baby start moving?  Last time, I had an anterior placenta, so I didn't feel him move until like 21 or 22 weeks, and even then, it wasn't the "fluttering" that everyone said it would be.  He was so big, it was unmistakable that it was the baby.  Now, I think I feel something (at 14 weeks), but at the same time, I'm embarrassed it might be gas or something.

When did you start feeling you babies move?

Re: Dumb pregnancy question

  • I started feeling her at 16 weeks I think. She loved to kick me in the vag!! Awful! All I could do was jump and say ouch lol.

  • Flutters around 15 weeks, after eating ice cream.
  • I felt flutters with Em at 14-15w.  You might not be crazy!  I even had an anterior placenta with her!  I know for sure I felt it, because I had an u/s right around then and I could tell the tech when she was moving, and she said I was right!  It depends a lot on your body structure.  Sensations are heightened significantly with subsequent pregnancies, too!  No one knows better than mom... If you say you're feeling baby, I totally think you are!   :D

  • I started feeling something at 14-15 weeks and our US tech confirmed what I was feeling at our 16 week appointment.

  • Thanks for the reassurance guys.  Most of the time (when I remember I'm pregnant), I feel like a total noob because this one is so different that the last one.  Nice to know it actually could be our little peanut!

  • Same as you, I had an anterior placenta and I didn't feel movement until about 20-22 weeks, I think.  They do say with the second pregnancy that a lot of women notice the movement earlier.

  • I had an anterior placenta with LO.  I felt flutters around 19 weeks and a definite movement at 21 weeks.
  • I didn't feel Olivia until somewhere around 20 or 22 weeks and just started feeling the twins at 17 weeks. Maybe I'm not as observant as I should be. Haha

  • I felt DD#1 around 14w. It literally felt like a little worm wriggling in my belly. DD#2 was around 19w.
