I posted the other day about an ergobaby sale (sadly looks like it's over/sold out). Mine arrived yesterday and I thought I'd try wearing DD (19 months, 24 pounds) just to see how it feels on my shoulders/neck. I haven't used a baby carrier for her in at least 6 months, probably more. She took to it like a duck to water! This morning she was super excited when I got it out again. She doesn't want to be in it for very long, but I'm guessing that's probably normal for an active toddler who likes to run around.

After disliking the moby wrap and hating the Baby Bjorn, I really thought baby wearing was out for me. The difference on my shoulders/neck was like night and day between the ergobaby and the bjorn though. If I can wear a 24 pound toddler, I can totally manage this with a tiny new baby. Yay!

I know everyone feels differently about baby carriers/wraps/etc. and what works for some will not work for all, but I thought I'd share.
(And thanks, @nickiechan, for giving me the motivation to try baby wearing again!)
It's a boy! Born 42 weeks, 2 days.

Balaustine: an anthology about wanting family
This was about a month or so ago at Wagmans... and he still very weightless and the carrier did very well even with him a sleep. With having HG and some hip issues I haven't been wearing much, but DH still does.
