Splurged last night

Sooooo I posted yesterday about what kind of chair we should get aaaannnddd we got a La-Z-Boy rocker recliner ... with power ... lol

We don't have ANY recliners in the house and I've heard this will possibly be my "bed" once I get bigger.  Plus it was sooooo comfy - and I love that I don't have to bend or anything to get the recline part.  I've been told by the doctors a C-section is likely due to where my placenta is.

I can recline the back only, legs only, or both - with the little remote.

Really there is no justifying it --- but I am very excited for it to come in!!!

We ordered it in a dark brown ;)


1st FET 2/14/2013 Happy Valentines Day! - BFN
2nd FET 6/14/2013 - BPF!!! -
1st Beta: 1046!!!!! - 2nd Beta: 2754!!!!!
First u/s 7/11/2013 - TWINS!!! 120 and 124 heartbeats <3
Second u/s 7/29/2013 - wiggley babies! 178 and 184 heartbeats!
Third u/s 9/9/2013 - 157 and 161 heartbeats ... a BOY and a GIRL!!!! Cervix on the "shorter side" (3-3.3) - going to check again in 2 weeks.
Fourth u/s 9/23/2013 - Baby A = 157 Baby B = 150 heartbeat. Cervix now 2.3-2.6 ... being referred to a MFM
MFM Appointment 9/26/2013 = Both babies healthy, cervix now measuring at 4 - Playing tricks on me ... will follow up in 2 weeks.
Cervical check 10/7 with regular OB - 2.1cm  --- going BACK to the MFM armed with ultrasound pictures from my OB of my cervix. *sigh*
MFM Appointment 10/8 - confirmed my cervix at 2.1cm - putting me on Progesterone for a week.
MFM Appointment 10/17 - Cervix unchanged! Keeping me on Progesterone - followup 10/29

    You girls are making me feel soooooo much better about our decision!  I feel totally guilty about spending the money - although we can afford it - it's just a big chunk before Christmas AND bringing 2 babies home lol

    @Lindsey312 - YES!!! It's the Maverick!!!! Too funny --- so you know exactly how comfy it is and how hard it was to buy!!!  How much was it at your local store? We paid $689 for the power one, I think it was $439 for just the regular one.

    We also added the scotch guard or w/e it's called ...

    It is seriously the most comfortable thing I've ever sat in!!!!  I'm pretty sure just the regular one was closer to $680 at our store... but maybe that was for the power version?  I guess I need to research a little more. 

    We have a glider in my son's room, but it was soooo uncomfortable to sit in for long periods of time.  We still use it to read books before bed, but now that I've been through it once I know I want something more comfortable for that first year!

    What part of the country are you in? If there is a Homemakers/Nebraska Furniture Mart near you it might be worth buying from there vs La-z-boy directly if it is that big of a price diff.  We don't have a La-z-boy store here so those are our main furniture stores :)

    @avigailandcharlie - yep it rocks - it doesn't turn/sway, but there are some that do if that's important to you!  I just liked that I could raise the leg part up as much as I wanted / put the back back as much as I wanted - it wasn't all or nothing.  This apparently is only true with La-z-boys.
