Babies on the Brain

new to the bump

Hi everyone, I'm new here and have been TTC #2 for about 3  months now. we've had a difficult TTC history over the last 6 years but have been blessed with a beautiful daughter who is 3 1/2. But, baby fever has gotten to me so we stopped the pill about 4 months ago. This was the first full cycle that i charted and things are a little weird for me.

I'm currently on CD27/10dpo & AF is supposed to show tomorrow 10/3. i had (what my friend believed to be) and implantation dip on CD24/7dpo and then a rise in temp again. I had a lot of symptoms, like cramping, fatigue and some spotting. Then, yesterday on CD26/9dpo, I thought AF had arrived in the morning (brown blood tinged with red). But, I only bled a small amount, spotting i guess you could say, by mid-morning and then nothing all day long. Same today. As of right now, I've had very little spotting (brown tinged with pink). My temps are still above my coverline and AF is due tomorrow. I'm assuming that she will show but, considering my chart, I'm not entirely sure. The past few months have had short LP around 8 days. But, now I'm sitting at 10 (if I only consider myself spotting rather than light AF). Sorry if this is a little confusing. I'm still new to the charting aspect of TTC.

Anyway, not entirely sure if there's a question here. I think I'm more interested in your own experiences, especially being less than 6 months off birth control. Thoughts?

I have an appointment tomorrow to talk to someone about fertility counseling. It's taken us a very long time to get pregnant each of the 3 times and no one has done any tests on me or dh. Now, my doctor is concerned as to why.

Re: new to the bump

  • Well, I think your appointment will answer your questions. If your LP is consistently under 10 that is a red flag that something isn't right. Best of luck to you.
