Just an update for you guys. I am sitting in a hospital bed waiting for another ultrasound to see if they are comfortable with me going home today. Yesterday morning I got up to use the restroom and started bleeding very heavily. We came straight to the ER. I was so sure I had lost one or both of the twins... two blood transfusions and an ultrasound later, the twins were still doing perfectly and my blood counts went back up. I think I stopped bleeding 4 or 5 hours after I started. Around 2 am, the doctor finally decided I wasn't going to lose them for sure and finally let me eat.
In any case, I am waiting for another ultrasound before they will decide to let me go home. I'm good, bored but good.

. The twins seem to be perfect. Just wanted to not only update you but give those of you in your own worrisome situations a positive outcome to help hold out against the worries we all get.

I tease
I'm absolutely ecstatic to have such a positive outcome with the way I went into the hospital.
I saw the twins dancing in another ultrasound before they let me come home.
For the amusing part, my husband had to leave work to take me home, and those at work who hadn't realized we were pregnant with twins.. the inevitable questions started "Are they natural?" etc. He was laughing when he came to get me, amused the questions you all had mentioned started before the twins were even born!
