Those of you who have 1 month olds....what are you getting your DC? Everyone keeps telling me to get her clothes, but she had enough clothes. Any ideas on what to get my dd?

    Maybe some toys for when she is a little older. My DS is 4.5 months old and I asked people to get him 9month toys. We got a lot of toys up to 6 months at my shower. I also bought him The Night Before Christmas book illustrated my Mary Engelbreit and wrote a message from Mommy and Daddy inside.

    Honestly, does it really matter? She'll be a month old. She'll have no clue. Just get her what YOU think she needs. If she doesn't need clothes then don't buy clothes.?

    I picked up a few toys that I wanted her to have & we're putting $$$$ in her college savings. I'm not stressing about it one bit.?

    obviously DS is older, but I got toys that he may be too young to use now but come the spring time when he is older he will want more stimulating toys and I don't want to break the bank then buying them so alot of his toys he is getting is 6mos+, and 9mos+.

    i went out and got an Exersaucer from Once Upon a Child, i figure it'll be nice in a month or so.

    i was just wondering if you ladies had any ideas. I know that she doesnt know...i just want stuff for her under the tree

    I got mine a couple of rattles and some books. We'll take his picture with them and he'll never know the difference, but we'll have something recorded for posterity. :)

    I would get something like an exersaucer or jumperoo that she'll be using in a few months.  For my 4 month old, I bought a jumperoo and some bigger size clothing that I know she'll need, plus some story books.  It's totally just for me and DH.  She couldn't care less about presents, but I want lots of wrapped gifts for her under the tree because we aren't doing grownup gifts this year so without hers, the tree would be empty!
