It's not even 11 here, but I think I'll be up a while. Poor guy has some bubble guts.
Married DH : 7/7/12; 3 fur babies (2 dogs and 1 cat) DS born 9/3/13; DD born 7/22/15; LO due 5/28/18 FS (age 5) and FD (age 2) to become AS/AD very soon!
I think we will be up for a while, too. LO didn't sleep well last night, so shes slept a lot today. She just woke up, I'm gonna feed her and hope she falls back to sleep.
It's little Finn's wonder week and he's being more clingy than ever before. If I even set him down he loses his mind I'm a little nervous to cosleep but it looks like I have no option. Time to read up on safe cosleeping. But I have to AW because I got the cutest smile pictures tonight for the two minutes that he was content and it makes it all better.

Sweet smile!! fwiw, I co sleep almost every night.

I am seriously frustrated today. DD has eaten every 30 minutes since last night. When she isn't eating, she is screaming bloody murder. She has barely slept at all and refuses to be put down anywhere. Please let this pass soon!
DD1 had decided she wants to potty train. Which is great! Except that I need to help her (wash hands, make sure she doesn't flood the bathroom...) and clean up the occasional accident. So between the two of them and DS, I feel like this day will never end!
I am also starving, and not sure if I actually ate anything today...

Lo's been asleep since 9:30. It's 11 now and I can't seem to sleep. I'm hoping this'll be her long stretch and I can sleep before she gets up to eat. Good luck ladies!
Sweet smile!! fwiw, I co sleep almost every night.
I love it Does he sleep on your chest or on your bed or?
I'm not sure why it didn't quote you, mommabmb. Oops.
NBD. He sleeps in our spare room in our queen size bed with me. I have the bed pushed up into the corner, and I lay on the outside. My H sleeps in our room. (Sexy arrangement, no?!? Lol) I have had desperate nights I have kept him on my chest in our bed instead of in here, but that doesn't feel as relaxed as it does in the bed just the 2 of us. He is so little, he doesn't take any room. I have a large blanket laid flat that he lays on top of (the sheets feel cold and he doesn't like that... Also makes spit up/accidents easier to clean). I have a large pillow at the bottom of the bed, but that's more to keep the pets down than anything.
We do have a bassinet he sleeps in for naps that I can wheel around with me and can be pulled along side the bed If he will allow it, but poor man has some serious belly nast tonight so I'm not even bothering.

DDs been up since about 930 she's eating now so hopefully in the next 30 min or so she'll sleep. I'm working on my babywearing. The Moby wrap is great but I'm still figuring it out. It's kinda hard to wrap up by yourself those first couple times.
Eta. We have 2m shots tomorrow morning. I'm a tad nervous.
I am once again frustrated that DS will not sleep flat in his pack n play. I can lay him in there asleep, but he wakes just a few minutes later and will not fall back asleep in that thing no matter what I do. I hate hate hate that he sleeps in his swing, but he just snuggles right in there and goes to sleep every time. If he's swaddled he'll even sleep 4-5 hours and I'm exhausted. I guess we just need to get the RNP but I really don't want to mess with that. We have too much baby stuff already, and he has to learn to sleep flat sometime!
I don't think I'll have a rough time with LO tonight, it's the toddler that's up every few hours screaming. Poor dude has the absolute worst diaper rash I've ever seen from some serious diarrhea. The ILs fed him peanut butter for the first time on Sunday and I'm wondering if that's what caused it (pedi doesn't recommend PB till 2yrs). I normally have a great relationship with them, but these last few months they're really starting to get under my skin bad. They're starting to make me feel like they're being critical of my parenting with their outdated 1980s advice, and im supposed to just go with it because MILs a nurse (not currently practicing in the field). Sorry for the rant! Hope we all get some good sleeps tonight!
LO is up and no sign of sleeping. I thought we were doing good since last night she slept from 1am to 7 am but I guess it just isn't happening tonight. I'm tired....

Just getting to bed. Hopefully I get at least four hours before LO wakes to feed. We will see though. Hope everyone has a good night and hopefully gets some rest.
Hopefully tonight we get long stretches. LO just went down with H and I get a little "me time" (yay). He's only been waking up about twice a night now which is amazing.
@chelseamolee we co-sleep every night. If we didn't my LO would scream for hours. He refuses to sleep in the RNP, PNP, bassinet or swing. Co-sleeping works for us and I hope you find what works for you.
LO went down at 730, she didn't nap well most of the day, and is still asleep! We are on the west coast so later than most of the ladies on here. I'm hoping that I can get her to sleep quickly after she wakes up to eat.
I am seeing kelly clarckson tomorrow and it is turning into a larger production because the show is at least and hour from where I live. MH is going to stay at my great aunt's while we are at the show but he is going to be down there on business early in the day so LO and I are taking public transit on our own. Once we get going I'll feel better but right now I'm nervous.
First feeding after a 4.5 hour stretch. I should have gone to sleep when she did...oh well. We're trying transition lo to sleep in her bassinet. Usually she sleeps in her swing and it has to be in motion. Tonight, she's been sleeping in it without it moving. Baby steps.
Up pumping while DH feeds dd... She hates when it's a formula feed. They take so much longer and she gets so frustrated by it. Th k god I can go back to sleep when I'm done pumping- my DH is the best for taking half of the MOTN feedings!
Hope everyone else is having an okay night
DS is up for feeding #1. I had hoped it would be later but after being fussy most of the evening he conked out earlier than usual and I didn't want to dream feed him. He's currently latched onto the side with the cracked nipple and for once it doesn't hurt! I wore nipple shells for most of the day and omg it's like night and day. Those things are amazing.
I spoke to my LC today and she reminded me that DS is basically less than 2 weeks old when it comes to bfing. I hate that my ped insists that he doesn't need an adjusted age since he was only 4 days pre-term. It makes me feel like a failure when DS isn't able to latch well
I hate when I'm up for a motn feeding and LO is basically fighting me and MH rolls over and acts like he is helping. No, I don't think that you holding her hand is helping, infact it is making it so I can't move her around to try and nurse her more. Oh and the loud coughing and snoring? Also not helping.
Feeding #1 is still going on and at the 2 hour mark I'm not sure what I'm going to do.
After it taking 2 hours to get her down last night, she gave me a 4.5 hour stretch. Yay! Right? Well now she won't go back to sleep. I tried rocking for over an hour. Nothing! So, now we're downstairs watching TV with her rocking away in the swing. Hopefully she knocks out soon so I can go back to sleep. I'm beginning to wonder if I am even cut out for this mothering thing. I Hope to God it gets a little better soon.
Oh and the loud coughing and snoring? Also not helping.
I shove dh when his snoring gets too loud and keep pushing until he actually moves, lol. More than a few times he'll wake up and look at me confused. I just say, what? You're snoring is too damn loud!
Yea, I may be slightly passive aggressive. :::shrugs shoulders:::
Sorry in advance for the novel. I'm tired. First and second feedings were a breeze. DS went right back to bed. It was when I went downstairs to pump a second time where the night went to hell. Let me set the stage...
4:30am, groggy me gets ready to pump one last time before the morning. I opened my bedroom door to a weird smell. Walk downstairs into the kitchen to discover the dog (who is crate trained) decided it would be a great idea to shit in his cage, I guess eat part of it, throw it up, and push part of the mystery liquid outside his crate onto the kitchen floor. What. The. Fck. I'm already feeling crappy for having the runs earlier (pun intended) and can't deal. I text dh upstairs, he spends the last 40 min hosing down the crate outside and cleaning the kitchen floor while I watch DS on the monitor and pump. Now I'm relatively awake when I should be sleeping since DS will be with me today while I work from home. Hope today goes fast.

I'm right there with you, I've had a break down atleast once every 24 hours since Sunday. I really just want to go back to work early. I could never be a sahm, work is do much easier!!! If you and I are feeling this way maybe it's not an uncommon feeling.
Yep. I'm actually looking forward to going back to work just so I don't have to hear her cry all.day. long.
Feeding # 2 here. He gave about 2 1/2 hours of sleep since the last one. I just hope he gives a long stretch after this. Yesterday after a 7am feeding he gave an hour then was up for the day. I'm too sleepy for this crap.

Not that your ILs should have given PB against your wishes, but my doc says PB is actually alright to give. Honey is the only thing she said to avoid. I guess they said no PB due to all the peanut allergies out there, but then research showed that it may have made the problem worse.
It's only a little after 10 here and LO should wake up any minute for her bottle and I'll pump. I'm nervous about her sleeping tonight because she literally slept all day after her 2 month shots. She only woke up to eat and promptly went back to sleep. Fingers crossed for a good night.
