VENT - Nosey flipping neighbor!!! (long)

Just need to vent!!! I live in a small subdivision. I have a neighbor I'm not too crazy about but we're friendly. She's got twins, is very into them being the best, having the best, and she's very into plastic surgery and materialistic type stuff... When we were communicating more, we learned we shared the same infertility issues, have seen the same MDs. etc. She always asks what's up with us, any progress, etc. and knows I have had a few miscarriages. Lately I just try to avoid her.

So I have a friend I have known for almost 20 years - she has a house cleaning business and I have used her when undergoing IVF, etc. I referred my neighbors to her and she cleans their home on a regular basis.

The NEIGHBOR saw my friend here several weeks ago - and noticed her walking my dog. NEIGHBOR proceeds to grill my friend - asking what was up, did I have another procedure, etc. Friend tells her no, that I'm just not feeling well. So this sets off a series of texts from the neighbor - Asking how I am, she misses me, etc. TOTALLY FISHING FOR INFO.

Then on Monday, friend was cleaning neighbor's house. I called to tell her about heartbeat and flipping neighbor stood and eavesdropped on the brief conversation. Then she corners my friend - saying she KNOWS I'm pregnant - she heard the conversation, etc. If my friend didn't really need this job, she would have told her to f-off. But she got nervous - said she does not know much, I am not sharing with anyone, still too soon, and that I would be very upset if anyone knew. Neighbor said she would not tell anyone, but was pissed I had not told her. WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?! IT IS NOT ABOUT HER!!!!

When I do decide to go public, she'll read it on FB like everyone else. I'm just really upset. I told me friend the next answer to this broad's questions is to tell her to BACK OFF. ROAR!!!!!

I am so sorry you are dealing with this!! I have a friend who is exactly the same way. She asks anyone she can if we decided to do IUIs etc. She had a lot of trouble trying to have her first baby so she knows what it is like to be in this situation. When I am ready to share, I will!! The only person who knew we were doing IUI was my mom. I just want to tell her to go F*ck herself and leave me alone! Good luck - I have no words of advice but I know how frustrating it is.

Oh that sucks. I don't share any info about myself with anyone except a few very close friends. I've always been private about my life. Hence no FB. Tell her to mind her own business. She's not family.
