We started off with a travel system for DS. I used to take DS for a long walk every morning. He loved it and would fall asleep every morning. A few months ago, we bought a jogging stroller. At first, DS seemed to be just fine. About 2 months ago, all hell broke loose. Every time I put him in it, he throws a huge fit. I mean arching his back, SCREAMING, and crying until his chin quivers...you get the idea. I've tried leaving the shoulder straps off, leaving the canopy up and down, tray up and down. You name it, I've tried it. Today, we went to Kohl's and I put him in their little cart and he threw a huge fit until I took him out, but at 25 lbs. he is too heavy to carry and try to shop. He does just fine at the grocery, Target, or Wal Mart where he can ride in the cart. At this point, we don't take our walks anymore and I can't go anywhere where there isn't a regular cart for him to sit in. We really don't have the money to buy a super expensive carrier that goes beyond the 25 lbs weight limit, nor do I want to wear him at that weight. He is going through separation anxiety, so I've thought maybe he doesn't like the stroller because he can't see me, but I don't know. Any suggestions?
