Flu shot?

Is anyone getting the flu shot while still KU or are you waiting until after delivery? Going to ask my doctor at my apt today but curious to see what others are doing.

Update: dr was going to give it to me today but decided not to since I haven't been feeling too great today. Said she will give it to me at my apt next Mon which is 3 days before my csection.

    Got it a couple weeks ago, at about 34 weeks. Now my OB wants me to track down the pertussis vaccine even though I got it after giving birth to DS2 in 2011. Not sure I'm going to manage it before my c-section in less than two weeks.

    you are supposed to get pertussis vaccine every pregnancy now.

    Getting mine after work. I got my Tdap at 34 weeks or so if I remember correctly

    Got mine a week ago and TDaP two weeks ago.  You need to get before you deliver (preferably at least 2 weeks before) so you can build up antibodies and then pass onto the baby.

    Walgreens has both in stock. They also have the pneumonia vaccine. That's where I got mine. And with my insurance, it was free!!

    My dr said to just ask for it while I'm at the hospital.

    Got my flu shot last week at 36w
    Got my Tdap week before at 35w.
    Both were done at my OBs office.

    I got mine yesterday...it was a little harder to find the one without preservatives (thimerosal) and the pharmacist almost gave me the regular one but I asked him right before he was about to do it even though I'm obviously pregnant.
