Brown Spotting

I'm about 14.5 weeks along and just noticed a few drops (literally) of brown spotting while I was in the bathroom. I've already called the doc and I'm waiting for them to call me back but I'm trying not to panic. I've already had one m/c and can't imagine having another. Can anyone reassure me? Is this normal?

I had some at about 8 weeks and I was fine. The baby is fine.

Ive read and heard brown spotting is old blood. So im sure its nothing to worry about, but nothings is as great as a doctors reassurance. GOOD THOUGHTS FOR YOU !!

Thank you ladies! Just heard from the doc that I should keep an eye on it but not worry unless it is accompanied by cramping. I'm a nervous Nellie today.

With my son, I never had any spotting. This time, I have had it more than a handful of times and everything has checked out to be just fine. Sometimes its after a tough BM, sometimes out of the blue! As long as there is no cramping or tons of blood, I am telling myself not to worry. So as hard as it is, try not to either!

Very true.. Brown sold blood I had a Perigestational hemorrhage this pregnancy that has caused this same issue of brown spotting... It's hard not to worry about it though mine stopped 4 weeks ago hopefully yours will too
