Spongy poop

DS has had the strangest poop recently and I can't figure it out. It has been greenish and almost spongy and more frequent (4-5 times per day). He is eating his solids and drinking his bottles with no issues and we have not introduced any new foods. He has had a runny nose but otherwise seems perfectly healthy. Anyone ever see something like this?

Re: Spongy poop

  • Poop changes consistency when solids are started. Peanut butter poop is how it's described in the cloth diaper world. So he could be getting closer to more solid poops? Unless he already had those, and he went back to the softer ones. It could be from the runny nose (ingesting more mucus?). I probably wouldn't worry much if he seems happy and healthy.
