ideas for the kiddie pool

DS's kiddie pool is being cleaned and coming in for the fall/winter. Besides stuffed animals, blankets, ball pit balls and pillows, does anyone else have any ideas what we can fill it with for him to play in? Thanks!

I like the idea of a sand or sensory "table" but DS is 13 months and still eats everything.
