I've been taking calcium supplement chews at dinner. It's helped some. It hit me as a good idea about three days ago after two weeks of torture! I can't keep tums in the house - my dog eventually finds them and eats them.

If you are needing tums that often, you may have your doc write you a script for some omeprazole. It's over the counter, but it'd probably cost you less with a prescription. I awful heartburn last time I was pregnant but have been lucky this time *knock on wood*
I hear you. I had heartburn from this morning until dinner. I took maybe a total of four Tums (I keep a bottle in my purse) and didn't feel much better. Not sure what killed it but I'm sure it'll be back tomorrow.
It might be the later on heartburn, but there is actually a correlation between heartburn and hair Right now it's probably just the relaxin messing with your esophagus.
I find that applesauce or an apple will help with the heartburn. I also will take a nexium sometimes. Every once in a while I have to take tums. But anyways applesauce tastes good and just might help. Feel better soon!
I am up because I can't sleep from heartburn and funny this is the first post I see. I also had horrible heartburn with dd and she had no hair and still has very little hair.
