Breaking Bad

I just finished watching and... wow! I loved the ending. I would have liked to have known a bit more about how Holly and Flynn and Skyler in the future.... but what can ya do.

Also, why did Marie love purple so damn much?

Thoughts?

I was happy to see Walt admit that all, too. It might have started out being for his family, but it quickly became all about him. I cried when he was looking at Holly. But I cry about anything baby related.

I was satisfied with the ending. No major loose ends, etc. But there is definitely a void in my Sunday nights now with BB and Dexter finished.

@billymollyemmy I totally cried when he was looking at Holly sleeping. It was such a sweet moment.

I loved it too. I felt like it wrapped it up nicely and didn't leave too many holes. I also cried when he said good bye to Holly, and when he just watched Walt Jr go into the house. I'm sad the series is over, but at the same time I'm glad I know what happened; almost like the end of a dramatic movie.

They tied up all the loose ends, it was perfect. I also wonder wtf was up with all of the purple.

I think it was one of the best endings of a series I've seen in quite some time.

I have no idea about Marie. Her character annoyed the crap out of me.

I don't really care about what happened to Skyler in the future, but I would have loved to see a little flash forward of Jesse.

How do you think the cops knew to show up at Uncle Jack's place? That was one thing we couldn't figure out. Do you think Walt tipped them off?

Oh and right after we watched Breaking Bad, we watched the premiere of Homeland. The Walking Dead comes back in a few weeks too. We are set for our Sunday nights.

This. Exactly. I'm also interested to watch Masters of Sex. We DVR'd it, but haven't watched it yet. Fall TV season > all other TV.

I absolutely loved it. I thought it was the perfect ending, him dying next to his "one true love". Like PP said, no loose ends, no "leaving it up to the viewers." It was pretty damn perfect.
I'm definitely going to check out the spin off show about Saul Goodman.

I think either he tipped them off, or he instructed Skyler to tell police at a certain time.
My theory is someone reported gun shots or Jessie called it in.

We figured they shot guns out there all the time and were not close to anyone at all so someone randomly calling in the gun shots didn't make sense to us.

That was a flash forward? I thought that was a flash back to the box he made and later sold for drug money?
I remember the episode where he told Walt about making the perfect wooden box. he put his everything into it... and then he ended up selling it to fund his addiction. I thought it was a sort of "this is how it all began."

On Talking Bad, they said that was a flash back to Jesse's happy place.
