We need ideas! LO won't stop screaming/crying...it's been going on since about 1:30 this afternoon. We've tried the 5 Ss, I've nursed her until I can't anymore (she's crying even as she eats, which she never does), we've changed her, checked temperature, given her a bath (which actually did calm her down for about 15 minutes). At this point, she's now crying about whatever is actually bothering her in the first place and because she's so overtired from all of this!
I am assuming her poor tummy is upset but she's not constipated or anything. We've done bicycles with her legs and made sure she's burped really well after feedings.
Anything else we can try? DH and I are gearing up for a long night and any pointers would be much appreciated!
Re: Help?!
Good job keeping your cool this long. Hopefully she'll tire out soon and sleep.
Good luck.

With my oldest, sometimes everyone just needed a break. I would lay him down in a safe place in silence with only dim light, then I would go outside and listen to the breeze and the birds in the trees. A couple minutes later I came in much more relaxed, and he was more relaxed too. I would usually just hold him close and rock and everything was fine.
And lastly, if she sounds like she is in pain or if you feel she is hurt in some way, go to the doctor or er or urgent care.
It was a God sent. Really.
If you have anything to baby wear you can try putting her in that.
If it is gas or constipation, try laying her on her tummy and rubbing her back in a counter clockwise motion.
It's so nerve shattering w a fussy baby especially when they seem in pain. Hopefully it's gotten better!!
