Bleeding (updated)

I'm having bright red bleeding at 12w2d. I'm freaking out. Anyone have experiences? It was so hard to get here I can't bear the thought of losing them. I have an appointment with my RE at 4pm today. The bleeding started yesterday then stopped but has started again overnight. I'm on blood thinners but after a call to my OB they suggested I stop for now. The cramps are mild; I've had them since 4w, but I'm terrified of the worst.

**update**

Just had my RE appointment. The babies are fine and wiggly as ever. I am so relieved. She couldn't find a source of the bleeding so she had me discontinue my blood thinners and referred me to a MFM for more monitoring and told me to take it easy with pelvic rest.

It is scary, but it can mean so many things -- not only the worst case scenario. I spotted from 7w2d through 13 weeks pretty consistently sometimes with red blood and everything was alright. I am sure it will be the same for you!

I had spotting and a few days of actual bleeding up until week 15ish. It was on and off but alway freaked me out. T&P your way!

I started bleeding at 6 weeks 3 days....passed a clot the size of a golf ball. Freaked out and went to the OR. They found the heartbeat (only 1 at the time, it was my first ultrasound) and couldn't diagnose anything. Went to my REs office on Monday (this happed Friday night) and found two heartbeats. I was still bleeding but it was getting better. I also had cramping as well. By my 8 week ultrasound we found a large SCH. I spotted until about 12-13 weeks and then had no more bleeding.

Thinking of you. I'm sitting in the hospital right now. Had severe bleeding yesterday with a grim diagnosis yesterday, but the twins were fine in the ultrasound and my h&h are stable after two units of blood. Chin up and positive thoughts. These babies are amazing that we all are carrying!

Thank you for the encouragement. I'm feeling more optimistic. Counting down the hours til my u/s. @missi567 - sorry you're in the hospital! Hope you are stable and at home soon. Glad to hear the babies are fine.

I had two sch's w heavy bleeding at 13w. I bled the following 3w and have been fine the past 3w. My MFM found no signs of the sch's at my last appt. hope you have the same type of outcome! Good luck!
