Dr appt tomorrow

Ok, for those who do not know my history. We started TTC in Dec, became pregnant first try. We ended up having a MMC in Feb at 11 1/2 weeks. Had D and C. Waited 2 months to TTC again. Dr said to TTC for 6 months if nothing to come back. Chromosomal testing all came back normal. Well, we are at 6 months and nothing so we have our appointment tomorrow with my OBGYN to see what the next steps are.

Do any of you have any questions that I should be asking the Dr?

I have printed all my charts

I have a few questions but wanted to see if there was anything that I should make sure I ask him.

I am going to see if I can get referred to an RE sooner than later. I will be 40 in Feb and hubby will be 42 in Feb.

Good luck at your doctor's appointment. I'm in a similar situation. I had a MMC in December at 11+ weeks. We started trying again in March and no luck so far. I have an appointment with my OBGYN on Friday.

Ticker warning.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I turned 40 in February and I'm so glad I was referred to an RE. I highly recommend you follow through with asking for a referral, I truly believe it made a difference for me. I wish you the best of luck! (My bday is Feb 20, when's yours?)

Sorry for your loss.... I wouldn't waste time with an OBGYN... I would run to an RE. No time to waste and you need proper testing and monitoring. Good luck

what KSGSMU said go to a an RE ASAP. However sometimes it can take awhile to get in to an RE so if you can get some basic testing with the OB that is cool there is day 3 testing, cd21 test - which should actually be done 7 days after O - so if you O around day 20 then the test is going to come back low.....so make sure its not on cd21 but actually 7 days after you O!! HSG and stuff....wish you good luck!

Sounds like, you are on the right path....just get that referral to the RE. They are the baby-makers. Sorry for your loss. I know how painful they are....glad to read that you are ready to move forward. Wishing you the best!

Hello, thanks. I will be 40 February 8 and hubby will be 42 February 29!!! yeah it was hard when we had the loss since we found out on February 21.

oh man we are in a similar boat. I found out I was pregnant in Dec MC at 11 1/2 weeks. Keep me posted since we are so close with our appointments. Would be interesting to hear if they have us do the same testing.

So, thank you for your replies.

We talked to the Dr. He had me get tons of blood work. Today I just had the AMH done since I am almost 40. on Day 3 of AF I have to get FSH, progesterone, karyotype and bitradiol ( i dont know what this one is) done. I also will go for a follicle study.

Will go back in 2 months and if we are still not pregnant will be going to an RE, he wants me to start with these tests first.

Hubby went for karyotype and will go for SA.

I feel better just knowing we have a plan and things are moving forward!!!! THinking positive!!!!
