Ummm, 3 deliveries and I've never looked. Granted, I'd never looked before delivery, ever, in my life, either. I have no interest in it. Dh likes it, that's all that matters to me!
January 2009: Goodbye TR (13 weeks)
February 2010: Welcome DD1!
March 2011: Welcome DD2!
I didn't look with DS1. I was too scared about what I'd see. DS2 was just born Saturday. I haven't looked yet, but I probably will in a few days. I didn't tear nearly as bad this time, but I want to make sure my stitches look alright since I had some issues with healing last time.
I haven't looked this time. I'm 3 1/2 weeks pp. Last time it never looked the same again (didn't tear) and I'm assuming the same has happened this time. I really don't care, it's just depressing.

I didn't the other two times, but I did this time only because they kept telling me I didn't tear. I knew something was wrong because it stung so bad to go to the bathroom. Took a look, scary, but sure enough I had a tear they didn't see.
I only looked at 2weeks PP cause I had a feeling something wasn't right and sure enough I tore my stitches... Very scary looking with episiotomy and 2nd degree tear.
Yeah, not looking. Apparently the doctor did a beautiful job with the stitching according to my mw, but not gonna look. I don't even want to know how many stitches it took to repair.
I looked. Curiosity got the better of me. I had an episiotomy and my child's head was so big that I tore beyond the incision (and pushed so hard and long that I gave myself hemorrhoids). So I've had a good bit of pain down there, mostly when pooping. The first few times it felt like I was pushing a baby out again, so I felt the need to make sure I didn't do further damage or tear my stitches. Honestly, it really didn't look as bad as I was expecting, though I didn't do an in-depth review. As long as things don't hurt in a few more weeks, I don't care too much what it looks like anyway.
Nope nope nope. I told myself I'd do it before my post partum visit, but that was last week and I still haven't looked. Doc said everything was fine though.

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
Eek, no way am I looking.. I kind of looked towards the back, was having some pain and wondering what the deal was.. But just saw what I could see leaning over, way too scared to involve a mirror or anything.
Terrified! I actually don't think it looks that bad anymore. I know the first few days I was soooo swollen I knew by the look on my husbands face that it wasn't pretty! Ill probably gather up the courage to look in a few days. I'm only 9 days pp
I tried to look after we got home. Honestly I couldn't see anything easily and gave up. My husband wants to check it for me, apparently he's fascinated by that sort of thing, lol. I'm not sure I want him to.
I'm 2 weeks PP and I looked a few days ago. For 3rd and partial 4th degree tears, it wasn't nearly as scary as I thought it'd be! I may, however, refer to my bits as "Harry Potter" from now on because I have a mean lookin' lightning bolt scar aaalllllll the way down! :-S
It took me 5 weeks to get the balls (ha!) to even think about looking. I got on the counter pulled out that mirror and I was like ohhhhh not all that bad.
Re: Scared to look "down there" now...!
