Heartbeat?

I had my first sonogram at 5 weeks yesterday. I knew it was way too early to see much of anything, but I was wondering at what point you ladies were able to see the heartbeat? I will be exactly six weeks at my next sonogram on 12/24. Is there a good chance then? I don't want to bother my RE again with a question like this. Thanks!
Diagnosis: Endometriosis with Complete Tubal Blockage IVF # 1 Fresh Cycle- It's a girl!! 8/12/09 IVF # 2 FET- MC IVF # 3 Fresh Cycle-MC IVF # 4 FET- BFP Arriving 8/8/12!!

    We saw the heartbeat for the 1st time at 5w6d but the baby was measuring at 6w1d and it had just started beating in the past 24 hours.  I would think you would have a good chance of seeing it at 6w.  Good luck!
