Can we discuss Fall TV

Here is what I watched so far:

Hostages: First episode was decent. I want to see how far they can take it. Like Under the Dome, how far past a mini series can they take this show. Eventually she will have to operate, and the president will either live or die.

Master Chef Junior: Oh Holy Hell!! Those kids are like culinary geniuses (genii??)

The White Queen: Has anyone besides DH and I watched this? I love this kind of shit. I know the ending, because it was sort of my major in college, but anything medieval England has my undivided attention.

The Crazy Ones: Felt kind of like an homage and send off for Robin Williams. He is comedic gold, but I got the feeling he was going to his wake or something. I will still watch because that McDonald's rap had me in stitches. Ketchup all over my face, FTW.

I watched Masterchef junior. I liked it, but seriously missed that drama that the adults bring. I need me some judges throwing plates in the garbage. It's too puppies and rainbows for me.

I will have to check out the James Spader one.

I have a ton of stuff recorded, like Once Upon a Time and all the teeny bopper CW stuff starting this week (The Originals, TVD). And of course TWD!!!

I think DH and I will have to do something special to mark the return of TWD.

I love the White Queen! I'm bummed that it's almost over.

The only new show we are watching is Brooklyn Nine Nine. DH wants to see SHIELD, but we haven't gotten around to it yet.

During premiere week, we watched the Voice, 2 Broke Girls, Big Bang, Glee, Greys, Parenthood, and Shark Tank. I have Modern Family and the Good Wife on DVR.

SNL was meh, not enough Tina for my liking and Cecily Strong needs to work on her nerves at the Update desk.

Sitcoms worth checking out: The Goldberg's and Trophy Wife. Both have stellar casts

Not impressed with: Lucky 7, The Michael J Fox Show

Still gotta watch: Hello Ladies (HBO) and Masters of Sex

Yeah, I thought about trying it. It's on right after, isn't it? I'm usually too lazy to change the channel anyway...

shoooot I'm not even up...I WFH twice a week so I DVR any and everything, that way I have something to watch while I'm home...but now that I've discovered ya'll's high-paced board I might have another activity to replace doing the chores I set aside for those two days.

I didn't! Somehow, it was "erased" from my DVR,neither SO or DD will fess up to who did it.

LOL, I thought the same thing. It was an intense episode though. Well, they all are.

I wanted to see that. Are they showing it anywhere (netflix?)

The Goldbergs was really funny, but you have to like Jeff Garlin. He does a lot of yelling, which is his thing (he did a lot of it on Curb as well). Def worth checking out.

I agree about SNL. Not great. Cecily Strong has potential, but I didn't love her at the desk.

Does she have some neck fat or what? She needs to only wear her hair back, or that blonde wig from the "former porn stars" bit, hehe "Manilow's Blankets"

I am so hoping Reign isn't 90210 circa 1570s. You should try the White Queen for some really good medieval drama.

We weren't impressed with most of the shows from my spreadsheet. I was disappointed with Michael J. Fox and Sleepy Hollow had promise until the 2nd episode. We're watching Blacklist, Brooklyn Nine-nine and Masterchef Jr.

The White Queen is on Starz. I just started watching it and it is good! I'm excited about Revenge, Survivor, The Amazing Race, Greys, Homeland and New Girl coming back. I liked Brooklyn 99 and the Blacklist a lot, so we'll be adding those in. I don't think we have much time for anything else.

I saw a preview for Awkward's fall season. All I can say is, I hope they wash Jenna's hair and give her a different style. If I have to see another 3 months of the freaking Katniss braid, I'ma cutabitch. Or that show. Out of my schedule.
