It's getting cold enough at night that DS wakes up whining at 2 am fairly often. There's nothing else wrong with him but it's a little chilly in his room (like 65 degrees, lol). He sleeps on a fitted sheet with a few books in his crib, and that's it. How did you transition to putting a blanket in there? I've tried it, but he moves around so much that it ends up shoved in the corner.
Re: Blanket help
Even a minor event in the life of a child is an event of that child's world and thus a world event.

"I'll love you forever,
I'll like you for always.
As long as I'm living,
my baby you'll be."
The same happens with the blanket for K. It's still warm most nights but getting a little cooler now. I have found that if I put him in a blanket sleeper (not a sleep sack!) he is plenty warm enough without blankets. I haven't busted them out yet this year, but they worked great last year.
Also. If it is extra cold, I put socks on him in addition to the footed blanket sleeper. We also have a small heater for his room that I used last winter.
Recently he's learned how to cover himself or "burrow" if he gets chilly an his blanket has come off.
