Discharge *TMI*

For the past week, I've had extra discharge.  It's enough that my panties feel wet, and gets worse through the day.  Its clear/watery.  Sometimes it's right after I pee (even though I lean forward to try and get it all out)  I can feel it dripping out occasionally, but it's not a huge gush.  I just saw my OB a week ago, and I'm sure they tested me for a UTI.  Nothing really hurts (other than normal cramping as these 2 babies are growing), or is itchy.  I just am looking for some reassurance that other ladies have had this too and it's totally normal ;)
1st FET 2/14/2013 Happy Valentines Day! - BFN
2nd FET 6/14/2013 - BPF!!! -
1st Beta: 1046!!!!! - 2nd Beta: 2754!!!!!
First u/s 7/11/2013 - TWINS!!! 120 and 124 heartbeats <3
Second u/s 7/29/2013 - wiggley babies! 178 and 184 heartbeats!
Third u/s 9/9/2013 - 157 and 161 heartbeats ... a BOY and a GIRL!!!! Cervix on the "shorter side" (3-3.3) - going to check again in 2 weeks.
Fourth u/s 9/23/2013 - Baby A = 157 Baby B = 150 heartbeat. Cervix now 2.3-2.6 ... being referred to a MFM
MFM Appointment 9/26/2013 = Both babies healthy, cervix now measuring at 4 - Playing tricks on me ... will follow up in 2 weeks.
Cervical check 10/7 with regular OB - 2.1cm  --- going BACK to the MFM armed with ultrasound pictures from my OB of my cervix. *sigh*
MFM Appointment 10/8 - confirmed my cervix at 2.1cm - putting me on Progesterone for a week.
MFM Appointment 10/17 - Cervix unchanged! Keeping me on Progesterone - followup 10/29

    I have had lot of discharge throughout the whole pregnancy, enough to need a pantyliner.  Most of the time it is watery, but I also get a rubber cement consistency at times.  It is totally normal but it is important to tell your doctor because it could be a sign of early labor.

     


    D & L are here at 34 weeks 4 days by vaginal and breech delivery on 11/19/2013
    Two healthy boys weighing 4 lbs 15 ozs and 4 lbs 5 ozs.  Only 6 days in the NICU and getting bigger, stronger and cuter every day!

    I had the EXACT same thing happen to me off and on from about 18 weeks through 26 weeks.  It was always after I peed too!
    It really freaked me out and I constantly thought I was leaking amniotic fluid. My OB checked everything out and it was just excess discharge.  I wore a liner throughout my whole pregnancy!
    I will say that ironically it lightened up once I got into my 3rd trimester, even though I had heard it got worse as pregnancy goes on.

    Thanks!! and yes, I'm going to get panty liners as well...  one of my best friends is currently on hospital bedrest at 25 weeks because she has ZERO amniotic fluid left, so I think it's left me extra aware.  Her baby has "made some more" in the last few days, so that's a blessing.  I know at my u/s last week they checked my fluid levels -  saw them look at it - they didn't comment or anything, but no news is good news :)

    I was having similar issues and had read on here (I think) that when you wear a liner as long as it isn't soaked constantly there's nothing to worry about, it's just normal discharge.  (I probably totally screwed up that explanation).  I started wearing a liner too and although I know there is some leakage it isn't anything major.  Can I suggest something?  Get those "Always Infinity".  They seem to have a much larger absorption capability. 

    My biggest complaint is when I pee and then stand up and am washing my hands it feels like I dribble a bit.  Really?  I just fricken went and did everything I could to make sure my bladder was empty.  Ohhhh, the things we deal with for our little ones.

    lmao @JoDoc ... I get a lot of those "Really!?...REALLY!?" moments already - we went recliner shopping all weekend and I got up and down from probably 100 recliners.  Today my stomach hurts - guessing abs.  Seriously, have my abs gotten that weak in 4 months?!  Seem to be fine when I'm puking... ha

    Ha Ha!  @Mcsweets, one of my favorites lately is "Really?  I was able to tie my shoes comfortably yesterday, now I can't even reach them?  WTH?!  How does that happen in 1 day?"

    Yes, absolutely had that, got worse the bigger I got. It's like I couldn't completely empty my bladder. I think it's pretty normal, with two babies taking up so much room there's no room for you to hold and fluid!

    I asked my MFM about a month ago about "leaking" I felt b/c I was worried it was amniotic fluid....basically, no...I peed myself. I must have a baby pushing on my bladder b/c I can have JUST gone and I leak.....I sneezed the other day and had to change my underwear....crazy!

    You should be fine with a little bit of discharge!  Keep paying attention to it throughout your pregnancy, though!  I didn't have any throughout my pregnancy & when I suddenly did at 34 1/2 wks I called my doctor.  Long story short, it was just cervical fluid (not amniotic like I was afraid of), but the reason for the discharge was because I was nearly 6cm dilated!  Needless to say, my girls arrived via c-section 3 hours later! ;)
