Work out world day care

Am interested in joining work out world and utilizing the day care provided. I don't want to call and deal with the sales pitch though so I figured I would ask here. What are your experiences with the day care and what ages do they take? Any help would be appreciated. I am looking at the one in Wall Twsp.

Re: Work out world day care

  • I tried the daycare at WOW in Middletown once when my son was 7-8 months old (it was a few months ago and it was snowing but I can't remember exactly when or how old he was).  It was a weekday and it was pretty busy.  The girl (there was only one) was very nice and basically held him the entire time (20-25 min) because there wasn't much for him to do and he wasn't happy being put down.  I never bothered again because I wasn't entirely comfortable with it and I tipped her (and would continue to do so) $5 and it didn't seem worth it to do on a regular basis.

I'm not sure what age they accept, though one of the instructors told me that members don't follow the rules and bring babies before they're supposed to and the daycare doesn't turn them away.  The girl in the daycare told me that weekends in daycare are typically slower than weekdays because SOs are home to care for the kids while the other goes to the gym.  Also if you decide to give it a go, she suggested that you not take a class or plan to spend too much time there the first couple times till the baby gets acclimated.  I thought that was good advice.

  • my daughter is 2 niw and i ha e been taking her to the daycare there probably since she was 9-10 months or so? the one in tinton.falls/shrewsbury is circus especially in the summer and I felt like up until recently she was just too little to fend for herself there. I usually take her to the one in ocean twp and love it!!! the women are great and they really know her now. and she loves it. and its nowhere near as crowded as tinton falls. things I love...great daycare hours (i think its 8am-12noon and then again 3:45-8pm m-f and sat and sun 8am-12 noon)and you can watch the daycare on the tvs on individual machines and throughout the gym while you are working out
