NBFR: football seating

Since DH spoiled the bejeezus out of my this year for my birthday I want to do something special for him too. He is a HUUUGE Packers fan and a couple weeks after his birthday the Vikings are playing the Packers at Lambeau Field.

Has anyone been to a NFL game? Where is the best place to sit? Also has anyone ever bought tickets from VividSeats.com? They are about $40 cheaper than Ticketmaster....

    My dh is a packers fan too!  We have actually travelled from NY to Wisconsin to see them play.

    The best seats are considered at the 50 yard line.  Also, lower is better than upper deck unless there is something special like sometimes if you sit in the mezzanine you won't get rained on. 

    I would rather sit on a corner in the lower deck than at the 50 yard line on a third tier seat.  Also, if I had the choice between sitting in one of the back rows on the first tier, and one of the first rows on the second tier, I'd probably choose the second tier.  That's just a personal preference.

    If I remember, almost all of the seats at Lambeau were good, although if they have a new stadium I have only been to the old one.

    Have you tried myticketexchange.com through ticketmaster?  That is where we go for tickets.  I don't know if the Packers sell through there but we have purchased tickets to NFL games through there.

    This is exactly what I was wondering! They have a lot of lower deck seats available. I was wondering if it would be better to sit in the corner but in a closer row, or to pay like $30-50 more each to be in the end zone and closer to the Lambeau Leap.....

    I did see tickets on myticketexchange, they were just more expensive than the other site.

    I am not a Packers fan, but went to a Packers game at Lambeau field and it was awesome. Be ready for some insanely cold weather though. We went in September and I still almost froze. I agree with sitting further from the 50, but lower down. I believe that on some websites you can see what the view looks like from those specific seats you want to purchase. I know stubhub is a pretty good website to get tickets from too. Hope you guys have a blast!

    DO not go too low.  The lower you go, the harder it is to see the ends of the field when the crazed fans are standing up cheering.  :)
