happy monday everyone.

week: 9

fruit/veggie: olive

how i am feeling: less queesy, but still bloated and burpy (getting tired of this).

upcoming appointments/update: 10/7 appt. w/midwife for US and heartbeat check. my brother's wedding is in a week, and my dress still fits. we will announce to families a week-ish after the wedding, so we don't steal the thunder.

rants/raves: anything sweet is absolutely repulsive. i'm having to chug smoothes to make sure i'm getting ample servings of fruit.

GTKY: we don't have TV/cable, but i have been trying to keep up with Boardwalk empire by borrowing my friend's online HBO account. mostly, i go to bed around 730-8 becaue i'm so exhausted.

I think my dates are off but I will stick to my Monday ticker change until my next u/s

Week: 6, snow pea

How are you feeling: I have some mild nausea around dinner time but otherwise good on that front, definitely lacking on energy. I thought my skin was going to be clear this pregnancy like it was with my first, then I got a major breakout on Friday

Upcoming appointments: U/S moved up to October 8. Hoping to see a baby and heartbeat at that appointment after not seeing anything last Tuesday.

Rants/raves: I'm having a hard time packing my lunch and work and planning dinner. I'm not nauseous but nothing sounds appetizing. Also, this baby wasn't planned and I had literally just given SIL who is due in April all of my maternity clothes. Hoping she will give them back after we tell them I'm prego too!?!

GTKY: My tv is usually on the Disney channel thanks to my other kids but otherwise I like HGTV and The Voice. Hubby watches Mountain Men and Duck Dynasty which I can't stand.

How are you feeling? Exhausted and nauseous.

Upcoming appointments? Updates? U/S and appt in two more days! We told our parents and sibling yesterday. I attached a picture of the shirt DD wore to see her grandparents. I sent the picture to my sister and will send it to my grandparents once I have an u/s Wednesday.

Rants or raves? I am so sick of feeling sick. I just keep telling myself not much longer. Also, we have parent-teacher conferences tonight, and it makes today a 12 hour day at school.

GTKY: What is your favorite current TV show? What is your least favorite? Supernatural and Grimm-we're watching both on Netflix since we don't have regular TV.

Week? Fruit/ veggie? 7 weeks - blueberry!

How are you feeling? Pukey but I also have a bad cold so I'm stuffy and coughing, especially at night. I'm over it!

Upcoming appointments? Updates? I had some spotting last week so they brought me in for an u/s and we saw a heartbeat

I go in this Wednesday for my regular OB visit.

Rants or raves? I want to feel better already. I'm tired of being up all night coughing!

How are you feeling?
Sometimes I feel totally normal and not pregnant at all. Sometimes I feel soooooooooooo tired, and nauseous, and emotional, and gassy. if that counts as a feeling.

Upcoming appointments? Updates?
I have my appointment with the midwife on the 7th, next Monday. And then I have the All Sites Retreat, hanging out with all possible coworkers pretending I didn't just have an ultrasound that morning.

Rants or raves?
Rant: The government shutdown circus just burns my toast. If they can't fix the budget and everything is all screwed up, they shouldn't get paid during the shutdown, because how can they even pretend they're doing their jobs in that case? grr. Rave: I think I'm starting to have parent friends in real life. Yay.

GTKY: What is your favourite current TV show? What is your least favourite?
I am the opposite of a hipster, in that I discover I like stuff waaaaay after everyone else knew about it. So, I really like Buffy and am working my way through season 7, and I also like 30 Rock and Big Bang Theory. I'm sure I have a least favorite TV show, but haven't seen it yet. Probably some kind of talk show where nobody listens to each other.

Week? Fruit/ veggie? 9/olive

How are you feeling? I have the occasional nausea but nothing too terrible. I gag at yucky smells and sometimes just randomly. And I am totally exhausted.

Upcoming appointments? Updates? Had an ultrasound last Tuesday. Baby looks great and the heartbeat was 174. I am now released from my RE! I was put on thyroid meds because it's slightly underproducing, so that stinks. My first midwife appointment is tomorrow afternoon.

Rants or raves? I'm just working an afternoon today and usually that means I stay in my pjs all morning and get ready for work at the last minute. But today I'm proud of myself. I got the kitchen cleaned up and the grocery shopping done so when I get home I can just hang out on the couch until dinner making time.

GTKY: What is your favourite current TV show? What is your least favourite? I love Parenthood. Seriously one of the best shows on tv. I can't stand the Big Bang Theory.

Week? Fruit/ veggie? 7/blueberry

How are you feeling? eh, I was tired this weekend and I have some slight nausea. I'm not sure if it's from the pregnancy or just from feeling anxious, though.

Upcoming appointments? Updates? I had my follow-up ultrasound last Thursday and they found a baby measuring 6w2d (just about on track) with a HB of 116. I had my nurse intake appointment this morning and it was a real letdown--I don't know what I was expecting, but all I got was 15 minutes of health history questions, height and weight, and a urine test to rule out UTIs. I meet with the doctor next week, so I am excited about that.

Rants or raves? My brother's wedding is next Saturday at a beautiful winery in upstate New York. It's going to be really had to cover up the fact that I'm not drinking!

GTKY: What is your favourite current TV show? What is your least favourite? I don't watch much TV, but my favorite is The Big Bang Theory.

Feeling? Sometimes nauseous sometimes totally fine. Very tired, but I have two LOs at home so they keep me busy!!

Appointments? I have yet to see the dr. My first appointment isn't until 12 weeks.

Rants/raves? My dd is sick and I haven't gotten more then 4 hrs of sleep in days. It is only 10:30 here and I feel like it should be dinner time.

Favorite TV show? Revenge!

Week 8! Rasberry

Feeling pretty horrible - icky, tired, pukey and generally not myself.

Had first appt last Wed and saw a beautiful beating heart.

Rant: I can't stand when people post ultrasound pictures on FB. Seems like such a private moment for the family. I understand the joy and excitement of course, but to me it doesn't get anymore "look at me" than posting a pic of your unborn child.

Fav TV show (of all time): The Office. Nothing has topped that yet for me.

We just got done watching Grimm on there and now trying to find a new show. We tried Dr. Who but can't do it and are so surprised on how it has such good reviews and such a following!

How are you feeling? Blah!! I could really use some energy!!

Upcoming appointments? Updates? Just had my first apt on Friday and baby looks great (for a blob lol) and heart rate was 152 bpm! Next apt is 10/25

Rants or raves? I'm really over DH thinking that I'm pretending to be sick or that I want to be lazy, and then discuss it with his dad!! Seriously!!! I'd much rather be busy and running around like normal and have a clean house then making sure I'm close to a bathroom or sink!

GTKY: What is your favourite current TV show? What is your least favourite? I don't want a ton of tv, but I like pretty much any show that makes you think, criminal minds etc... And I can not stand reality tv!!!

Week? Fruit/ veggie? 8w raspberry

How are you feeling? Pretty good honestly except for a constant hunger and boobs so sore it hurts to look at them.

Upcoming appointments? Updates? Another u/s on Wednesday for dating at the practice I'm going to (even though I know what day I conceived as we did an IUI, but whatev its another look at the babies)! Finally meeting with the MFM on Friday. I'm so ready to throw about a million questions his way and hope that he has hours to spend reassuring me that he can prevent pre-term labor from happening again. Also, we're telling my SILs and their familes on Friday since my SIL will be in from Wyoming. Really looking forward to it, and I hope that they have good reactions instead of worrying about another set of twins not making it.

Rants or raves? Speaking of ILs...I'm so absolutely annoyed with my MIL right now. She wants to take control over our "reveal" to SILs. I know that sounds petty, but we weren't planning on a huge production, but she wants to have a part and this and that. It's crap its for us to decide how we want to do it. Stay out of it.

GTKY: What is your favourite current TV show? What is your least favourite? How can anyone not love BBT? Its amazingly funny. We usually always turn it over whenever its on. We also watch Elementary as well. I can't stand to watch shows like Honey Boo Boo and other reality shows that have taken over what used to be learning chanels. I feel like I've lost brain cells after watching that crap.

How are you feeling? breasts are still pretty sore and the fatigue is still getting me but I'm starting to get into a routine that is working for me.

Upcoming appointments? Updates? Our first appointment was last Wednesday. It went great! We're measuring where we thought we should be. My midwife was pleased. We won't be back in for another 4 weeks.

Rants or raves? My husband has totally opened up since the appointment. He was pretty closed off about the pregnancy before that and now he's wanting to talk about it all the time. I'm so happy that he's finally getting excited with me.

GTKY: What is your favourite current TV show? What is your least favourite? We actually don't watch many shows in our house. I suppose our favorite is Good Eats on the Food Network. Mostly we just watch sports though.

How are you feeling ? Sore boobs and noticeably bloated for the first time ugh !

Upcoming appointments/updates? Oct 7 OB and Oct 9 midwife , excited to see what's going to happen and decide on which route to go

Rants or raves? Hubby is being super supportive still and I love him for it

Today was one of my few hormonal breakdowns - during a workout I couldn't push as hard as I have before I got pregnant; mind says yes-body says uh no! I literally began bawling from frustration or who knows what and bawled as I worked out for a few minutes then was happy! Lol

Favourite TV show? Love New Girl, Food Factory and Ghost Adventurers!

TV show I dislike? Glee

Rants or raves? Hubby has been awesome. MIL is angering me. Wish I had some decent cravings so I could eat a decent amount of food and enjoy it.

GTKY: What is your favourite current TV show? CSI, NCIS, Once upon a time. Does football count?

What is your least favourite? I have only seen previews for these, but they seem terrible: Honey Boo Boo, Dance Moms, Toddlers in Tiaras, and anything else semi related.
