Meat!

In case anyone saw my post in a thread the other day about first foods and meat, I checked with DD's doctor today at her 4 month appointment today and she did confirm that yes, it's recommended now that meat is given first. I could tell by the way she was saying it that she didn't entirely agree, but that's what she suggested. Weird!!

I figured it must be some Canadian thing since no one else on here has heard anything about it so I Googled and found this:

I just had a weaning class (which was terrible) and as you say it was first foods then meat next. Really interesting that that advice has changed now. Thanks for sharing.

I had heard that as well. I have not decided what I will do yet but I guess I won't hold off too long on introducing meat.
