Hi everyone.
New to this forum. I have been posting to birth month (April) but haven't posted here. So here is my story.
Started ttc in August 2011. Went off bcp. No periods. Had a consult with a midwife and was finally diagnosed with pcos. Started on metformin and provera. Eventually upped to 1500 reg release. Never regulated me. Had 2 colposcopies and 2 LEEPs due to abnormal cells on cervix. Had an HSG, normal. 2 cycles of clomid, o'ed once. Stopped the clomid due to leeps and such... Lost 40 lbs, officially making me a "thin cyster" and tried to just get healthy. Went to an RE, he agreed about pcos dx. He prescribed letrozole and wanted to take me off the metformin. I refused to stop the met. He stopped monitoring me after 1st cycle of letrozole. Got frustrated. Found a new RE office. This dr upped my metformin to 2000 mg extended release, wanted to do 5mg letrozole and a trigger/ IUI. We went through with this plan and after 2 years of ttc, finally got our BFP!
If anyone stuck with reading my book, did you have success with pcos? I am 12 weeks today and due April 13th!

AMA & SAIF. TTC #1 since Oct. 2010. DX: Unexplained. BFP on break after 32 months trying and 2 med cycles. Baby girl born at 40w0d!

My Ovulation Chart
Me: 41 DH: 46. We are TTC our 1st, started July '11,
3 cycles clomid with Ob,
1 cycle Tamoxifen with Ob,
Diagnosed PCOS 11/5/12
clomid, trigger & timed bd 12/12 BFN
1st clomid IUI 1/4/13 BFN.
2nd clomid IUI 2/13 cancelled didn't respond to clomid.
3/15/13 scheduled laparoscopy & on bcp.
May 10 IUI from injectibles - BFN
May 22 done with interventions it will either happen or it won't.
February 2014 No longer actively trying, but not preventing.
