  3rd c/s, 3rd OB and all have said 6 weeks.

   Your uterus is healing, not just your incision. Sex, or anything up the vagina for that matter, would introduce bacteria that could cause an infection.

  Yup 6 weeks was what I was told, and man is that 6 week wait hard. We actually came close last night, thank goodness the baby woke up or I might not have had the willpower to stop myself!

  It's 6 weeks regardless (some dr's do clear earlier) because of the chance of infection from the open wound from the placenta.

  Thanks! Yes it is a long long six weeks. And we also came close but baby woke up crying. I guess he saved the day.
