So yesterday was day 1 of my IVF cycle. I woke DH up, then had that thought… hmmm
something is going on down there. Ran into the bathroom, AF showed up first
thing yesterday morning and man was she pissed.
Throwing things and having a tantrum.
Got myself together and came out.
I told DH ‘It’s go time’ we are officially day 1 of our IVF cycle. In true man fashion he high-fived me.
Today I had my baseline blood work and ultrasound, and I just got the phone call that we are a go to start my shots. I am super nervous about starting the shots, but glad that our first day is on a Saturday so that we have two days to figure it out. I am doing one in the morning and one at night. DH will be giving them, so hopefully he is kind. (The shots will be Menopur in the am and Follistim in the pm)
I am so thankful I stumbled onto this board and found you wonderful ladies.
Retrieval is tentatively set for 10/09. (Holy shit! It's go time!)

I was also super scared for my first night of shots since DH had always given me my trigger shots in the past. I was determined to do them on my own and I was so glad that I did, I think it hurt less. I was actually excited to do them each night because I felt so proud of myself afterwards.

Clomid 50mg + IUI#2 = BFN
Clomid 100mg + IUI#3 = BFN
Lupron + Follistim + IVF#1 = 11ER, 10M, 10F, ET of 1 expanded BBA 5-day blast, 2 Frosties. BFP! Beta 10/13 = 264! Beta 10/15 = 702! EDD 6/21/14
