Now that my baby arrived early, I have new mom questions earlier than expected. So please indulge me.
Wth do I sleep in? I have a nursing bra and nursing tank tops. My nursing bra does not work well for sleeping, so I've been wearing my nursing tanks. But I'd rather not wear my nursing tanks day and night. What is the proper night time attire? Bonus points if you can give me a link to Amazon so that I can order it.
This also looks like it would be easier to strap on for work vs. having to put on a sports bra. Anyone have experience or other recommendations?
Update: In case anyone finds themselves looking for this same info....
I did buy the pumping bra linked above. It is AWESOME. Buy it.
I have only worn it one night, but I like it so far. It gives me more support than the nursing tank, which I like.
Re: Update: Nursing/pumping attire questions
Just give in to the tanks!
I have nursing nightgowns from motherhood. So incredibly comfortable and they are an add'l 30% off right now on the clearance stuff

Do you think they run true to size?
I usually slept in a very comfy nursing bra and a t shirt that i would pull up or take off. Bravado made some all cotton ones for that were perfect for night time but didnt offer enough support for day. They are called the original nursing bra (i am at least a D nursing and i have the double plus version for sleeping). They are ugly but comfy.
Once your boobs stop leaking (and when their size stabilizes too) its easier to sleep without a bra/tank.
Hope that helps!
My girls are in the a-b range and the medium fits just fine
I think I just always wore a comfy tank that was stretchy. And not necessarily an actual nursing tank.
As for pumping bra, I didn't want to have to change bras to pump. Too much hassle. So underneath my regular nursing bra, I just wore a spaghetti strap sports bra that I cut holes in. But more power to you if you want a real one. It's really just personal preference.
As for the pump band, I have this one in a size large and I was using it when I went back to my normal 34d and it still held my pump in place:) I would recommend!
