Fashion advice please!

I suck at lsyering and combining things so please help me! I have a navy and white striped dress, flowy and kind of short. I'm going to wear it with a brown leather belt and boots and a grey sweater over it. Given the weather and how short it is, I think I want to wear tights, but what color? Is grey too matchy matchy with the sweater? TIA.
