Packing for hospital!! Getting induced tomorrow!!

I can't believe that I am sitting in the baby's room packing for the hospital! I am being induced tomorrow night. As of last week, I had an unfavorable cervix. They are going to give me Cervidil for 12 hours and take it from there. I am soooo scared, but also excited! I can't believe DH and I are going to meet our little man soon! Please pray for me! I am so scared that something's going to go horribly wrong! I have really bad anxiety & am thinking the worse! Must be because I am a FTM and not sure what to expect!! Either way, I'll get to hold him after it's all said and done! Because I'm not getting induced until tomorrow night, I assume that I probably won't give birth to him until Tuesday or Wednesday. Hopefully I will dialate and the induction is a success!! If not, oh well... C Section it is!

Good luck!! I was induced at night with DS and although it's a little scary, once you are there and see how competent the medical team is, you'll relax. Can't wait for updates!

Good luck and congrats! You will feel better once you are there, the team will know exactly what they are doing and how to keep you and LO safe no matter what could come up! Your job is to sit back, relax and enjoy - oh and push a baby out of your vsgina ;-) you're going to do great!

Aww I know it's scary but try and relax. I was induced with my first and was so scared I cried the entire way to the hospital. But as soon as we checked in an odd sense of calm came over me and I put my game face on! Lol! (And everything went perfect)

Like others said just relax, that will help with the BP. Let the team and your DH be there for you and you will do fine. Even with being induced once your body figures out what is going on instincts will take over. Good luck!
