Skin rash

So LO has a skin rash for about 5 days. It started on her face and is gradually moving around her body. We took her to the doctors yesterday and they said it's an allergic reaction to something. We had to change her body wash and lotion from Johnson and Johnson to Cetaphil and her laundry soap too. They don't know what is causing it because we haven't started cereal or anything yet. She does get cereal in her night bottle since she has been about 2 months old to help with weight gain. The only thing my H and I could think is she has been petting the dogs or something from the babysitters- no idea. I just find it so frustrating because we can't narrow it down.
Has anyone's LO gotten a skin rash and you don't know what caused it?

    Is she breastfed? If so, could it be something you're eating? Otherwise maybe it is something at the babysitter's...

    Poor little thing I hope it clears up soon. If you don't have a specific cream prescribed by the doctor I would cut out all products on her skin. Just bathe her in warm water.
