I had such a great trip to Babies R Us today, I just had to share. A few days ago I tried complete my registry online, but the completion coupon code did not work. I called customer service and they told me I had to go to the store to use the coupon and gave me a code to give the store. I was quite annoyed at this point, why would they of given me an online code on the coupon if I cannot use the coupon online!!!
So when I got to the store today, they had no idea what customer service was talking about. The girl that was helping me called the manager over to try to figure it out, she also had no idea what customer service was talking about, but she said she would do want ever she could to help me the biggest discount in store. They took my registry and did all the shopping for me, I just had to wait for them to get everything. The swing I wanted was cheaper online then in store, so I mentioned I would pick it up at BJ's because it was cheaper there then with the in store price with the coupon. They met the BJ's price ($45 cheaper then in-store) and then they also looked for any other coupons I could use. They found a handful of other coupons that helped me save more money. There were a few items that were only online, they called customer service for me and figured out how to get the completion coupon to work there for me so I would not have to deal with customer service again. I ended up saving over $100 extra over what I would of if I had just placed the order online and everyone in store was very helpful.
Moral of the story, don't bother calling Babies R Us customer service, just go to the store! I was annoyed when I walked in the store and left very happy!
