I'm making beef stew in the crock pot to freeze, heading to the library, and finishing laundry. Tonight is dinner with friends if DH's hungover butt can handle it.
Stenciling the nursery accent wall, lots and lots of laundry, grocery shopping, and cleaning the floors. IF I have anything left in me by the end of day...organizing DDs closet.
Sundays always include brunch which we just finished. I made pumpkin pancakes, bacon, eggs and cut up a big platter of italian and october sun plums and pears. I also prepped my chicken stock and will have that cooking all day. Maybe do some laundry later, but for now, nap on the couch while FI plays vid games.
Today is an easy day which I'm thrilled about! A little laundry, straightening up the house, finishing touches on the nursery, etc.
Our good friend just returned home from Afghanistan last night ... DH is out biking with him now and then we will probably spend some time with him tonight. So happy he his home safe!
Making some pumpkin muffins, making a double batch of stuffed peppers for tomorrow night and 1 to freeze, laundry, and babysitting my nephews for a few hours. They'll be occupied by football the majority of the time.
I'm at work right now doing some office nesting. After I leave here, I'm going to clean my truck and DH is going to change the oil in both of our vehicles. Then I am putting in the carseat and going to finish packing my hospital bag. After that, I'm sure I will be taking a nice long nap, then cooking dinner, then going for a walk, then back to bed. I love Sundays.
So far I vacuumed the couch which is a huge project with all he animal hair. And I washed both 50lb dogs. At 9 months pregnant I think that may be the last time I can pull that off. One jumped out of the tub covered in soap. What a mess.
Now I need to vacuum downstairs and later I have to go food shopping. I'm waiting for these BHs to settle down first.
ETA- totally missed a word. Now the sentence makes sense lol
DD was up 2 times last night and thanks to preg-somnia I was up for hours too. So far it's jammie day in our house bc DH is at work. My mom is coming to pick her up soon so I can nap & go food shopping and MAYBE do a costco run too. Depends how much the nap helps.
Then I plan to make 2 lbs of meatballs --some for dinner some to freeze.
I have the same list from earlier this week. *sighs* plus some.
I just found another crockpot meal to make that sound so good. *pick up house *deep clean bathroom *sort the seasonal clothes, get out current size, put away summer. *dishes *wash floors * get out the sensory table for next week. I am pretty sure my caregiver for the kids will need it for #1.
Dh and I are off to get my car cleaned inside and out so we can finally install the car seat later. Finishing the nursery hopefully. And then baking my ass off in the kitchen while we watch football. Perfect day.
I dont wanna do wanna do anything, getting home from work at 3am is officially exhausting. Im about to finish hanging some shelves then I need to go to the super market, lowes, craft store, and Babies R us (at least this is to get $$ back from calling in a coupon) then come home do some laundry, finish crafting my map lamp for babes room and hopefully get a few apple pies done from with our bounty of picked apples. .....But I'd rather nap while while friends re-runs all day
We also had sunday brunch but dh made it here at home for us. But so far we've cleaned a bit more out of the office (nursery) and I mopped the floor in there. I need/want to do a few more things in there this afternoon, along with cutting some of my plants back in the yard to get them ready for winter. I/we may patch the holes (from screws and nails) in the nursery today also. Then maybe tonight (FX) maybe paint???? Also should make some type of birth plan thing- whatever.
Bison (FCS) beats Big 12 Champs Kansas St (24-21)!!!
I am always up early and I am most productive at like 7 am so I already did one load of laundry (just need to put away). Did a load of dishes, cut up some squash and have that roasting, picked up the kitchen. Tonight I will need to run another load of dishes, but DH needs to do his work laundry first (our dishwasher is a hot water hog so we can't run the washer and the dishwasher at the same time). There are tons of things I could be doing, but currently I'm relaxin on the couch. I am meeting friends for lunch. We will see if I get anything else done today....
Shampooing the living room carpet! I've been whining to DH for months that I want it done before the baby comes and this morning he finally said okay let's do this. We have to do the room in halves since we don't have enough space to put the furniture in another room, so I'm hoping to use all the drying time to wash the curtains/blankets/dog toys that are usually in the room and get all the animals brushed. It's going to be a long-ass day, but if we can get all this done, it will go a huge way towards helping me feel ready for the baby
Finishing replacing elastics on the last of the cloth diapers. Naturally I left the toughest ones for last, the Rumparooz that have 5 elastics each to replace rather than 3. Never thought I'd curse those inner gussets, but here I am.
Same list that I've been trying to tackle for over a week-hang up baby clothes, put 24mo clothes in DS closet, laundry, hospital bag, and now vacuuming the entire house since I found a flea on me this morning! Damn dog!!
The nesting kicked in last night and saw me scrubbing my kitchen floor/baseboards and appriances by hand. Today I'm taking it easy. We got invited for dinner by a church family so i don't even have to make super! I might finally fold my laundy tonight... Might....
Productive day here... Had to wash the dog this morning cause he rolled in shit, yay. Then conquered the Sunday crowd at the grocery store and came home to cook meals we will freeze. Currently beef stew going on the stovetop and chicken ropa vieja in the crock pot (made/froze my homemade red sauce last week), and got some ground turkey in the freezer and a few Amy's organic meals too. Going to bake some pumpkin muffins, zucchini bread, pumpkin cookies and pumpkin Rice Krispy treats in a little bit after I rest/watch football. If I can get that all done I'll be satisfied with our frozen food prep...
DH and FIL laid the runners on our stairs and upstairs hall too. Looks pretty.
Took DS to the aquarium this morning, moved some boxes to the garage (DH lifted, I directed), and now i will eat candy corn on the couch until DS wakes up from his nap. At some point later i will make a grocery list but other than that i plan on being pretty lazy today.
This week i need to write thank you notes from DS's 2nd bday party, and the following week I plan on deep cleaning the house. Not today though, not today.
1.Finish cleaning up after yesterday's party 2. Decorate for fall/Halloween 3. Install car seat 4. Pack bag 5. Couple more freezer meals 6. Go through DS1's toys and put up younger age toys
I just got back from my office... I had to pack my stuff ... Metnally exhausted ! Now I'm off to the Market to get something to make for dinner , maybe a load of laundry and then I have to go see my mom. Well at least I was productive !!!
We had DS birthday party and family over yesterday. I really overdid it at the party so half of today was spent in bed feeling like junk. Finally up now eating grapes and watching Netflix. I did do a load of laundry and take out trash.
Laundry, cleaned floors, lunch at mom and dad's, finish our the night watching TV and movies. It's been pouring here for hours so I feel less bad about not working out.

I'm jealous of anyone with brownies, or pumpkin pancakes for that matter!
