Cried at Walgreens

So my daughter has been crying non-stop for a few hours today. She woke up fine went out she was fine,then she just got upset. There was a point I did not know what to do thought maybe I should go to Walgreens and get some baby tylenol. Well I have no one who can watch DD today so I take her and she cries her heart out the whole time. At the check out line a lady comes up to me and tells me "you should go home an take that crying baby with you,it is rude to other people that you bring her out while she is crying." F**k lady I am buying her medicine!!! I just started crying myself. I felt alone,desperate and I was too shocked to say anything. I just wanted to vent :( finally got baby to sleep...sight

    I always thought I would come up with something smart to say but I was so shocked! Really sucks when someone just expects you to shut your baby up.

    Seriously, who are these people? I worst I've ever encountered is old ladies telling me he looks cold. Can't believe some of the stories I hear on this board sometimes (I mean,not literally-- of course I BELIEVE you) -- people are so rude!

    I would have so gotten in her face and I'm not the confrontational type. Would have cried afterwards too. I'm so sorry hun. She has no idea what you're going through whether she has kids or not.

    Thanks ladies I thought I was being a wimp I literally couldn't hold my tears back if I knew how to make my baby stop crying I would do it in a heart beat. She made me feel like a bad mom for a minute. Then I just thought forget her and her bad mood.

    You were most def not a wimp. A baby's cry stresses moms out and you were just at your breaking point. Even my husband knows now not to mess with me when Connor is crying like crazy because any word can set me off.. I don't know what it is about the crying, but I hate it.

    Nothing sends my blood pressure soaring like an inconsolable kiddo. I probably would have started bawling too. Glad you are at least getting a break from the crying now. Hope you and your DD have a better evening!

    I wish I could have been there with you so I could have told her off for you.  I know how sometimes in the moment you are just so startled at the rudeness, etc. that you can't think of anything to say.

    Ugh! Me too! My blood pressure goes through the roof and makes me completely irrational.

    Yup. Then you feel mad at yourself for not calling the person out for their bs. There is a special place in hell for people that are nasty to mothers with crying babies.

    @cece2682 I know Jaz was crying like I was torturing her and stuff and I think that lady just expected me to leave out of the store because of it,but I couldn't I needed to buy that. I just think maybe she wasn't a baby person lol and thanks! :)
