Construction set?

My girls love to screw and hammer things.  I was looking for some kind of set to put on their Christmas list.  Something where they can maybe build something and take it back apart using tools, but nothing too babyish.  Any suggestions?

    Auntie-we go into Lowes when we have the clinics for these but once they are built, they get tossed to the side, never to be touched again.  I would love something for them to be able to take apart and rebuild.  Littlejen-they are 5.5 and 3.  The little one is the one more into building though.
