Crazy airport experience

So I'm flying back to DC from Charlotte today. Get to the airport with all my pumped milk in bags in my cooler. They check all the bags and one triggered for explosives. I had the director of the explosives team checking my milk. Every article I had with me needed to be swabbed. They wanted to separate me from the milk and I refused and said that I was not leaving my belongings. I said I did not need a private pat down.
Meanwhile Angie Harmon is going through beside me and is freakishly thin and had to put an abdominal binder back on...what does she need that for? FWIW I had a better handbag than her though
They cleared me and confiscated my ice packs. Cannot bring them through unless frozen solid apparently. So I had baggies to put ice in anyway. What an ordeal. This is going to be really annoying if it keeps happening every time I travel.
