Team Green Ladies...

Do you have any feeling about what you're having yet?  I've been leaning towards girl, but it hasn't been a super strong feeling. I'm starting to feel more and more that it will be a girl because my skin is getting worse, not better.  My skin looked amazing when I was pregnant with DS and terrible with DD so that's really my only basis for comparison :)

Re: Team Green Ladies...

  • No feeling really. I feel the same I did with dd. I'm a fence rider though. I'm secretly paranoid that if I assume its one sex and turns out to be the other i may be dissapointed. Now I know thats not true and silly to think that. I try to keep a super open mind to the sex of baby and not lean one way or another.
#-o Geeze am I driving myself crazy with this? *sigh*

  • I go back and forth. Some days I think LO is a girl and some days a boy.

I am at the point where I am hoping it's a boy while DH is hoping it's a girl but really we will be really happy with either.

  • Even though I'm leaning towards girl, I still wouldn't be surprised or disappointed if it was a boy...I know my "feelings" only go so far :)  I actually think it'd be easier to have a boy as we'd be able to reuse all of DS's clothes - DD was born in November so there wouldn't be as much overlap.

  • I have no idea. With our first, I asked H about names around week 13. He said Grace and I agreed . He would not pick a boy name and refused to talk about it. We ended up having a girl(we found out at 16 weeks). It was just so easy to pick a name.

This time, we came up with a boy name so easily this time, Everett. We have struggled coming up with a girl name.

Because of this whole naming theory, I think we are having a boy. Stupid right? :)

  • I don't have a preference but I have a feeling it's a boy. Since this is my 1st, I have nothing to go on but it's just a feeling. I don't claim to be psychic nor do I believe in that stuff but I do get "feelings" about certain things. I know that's 8-| but they're usually right a lot of the time...we'll see.... I'll be happy either way, I'm just soooooo excited to meet my baby! <3

P.S. I have some family that are actually making bets on the gender. Really.
    :-? :))

  • As of last week my target didn't even have their halloween out!
  • I had a girl dream, but I have also had a boy dream, but the lines on my u/s say likely a girl. Skull theory says girl too, so I am going to say girl.

  • I've had two dreams about this LO being a boy. But I'm not convinced. I honestly don't mind either way! I know the family dynamic might be a little different with a boy vs. girl, but I look forward to either.

  • Team green with twins here. Prior to finding out there were two DH was convinced there was either a girl in there or twins because I've had a different start to this pregnancy. He now knows not to joke about these things :).

I really don't have a feeling either way or even a preference. DH has it broken down like this: worst case is two girls (he's terrified to have two the same age), middle is two boys (gives us 3 total and DS is a handful!), best case is one of each. We're excited for delivery day either way. It's also still so much fun listening to the grandmas complain. My mom is trying to bribe us with more baby stuff to find out the genders! :).

  • This pg is different enough from DS that I feel like there is at least 1 girl in there...buuuuuuut could just be different because I"ma  few years older, I have a toddler to chase now and oh yea, there are TWO babies.

DS - no MS, not tired at all, no heartburn, clear skin...basically I didnt' think I was pg until I saw him on the US at 20 weeks.

twins - no MS but got woozy a lot, break out some, random days with wicked heartburn, much more tired/nap frequently.

not gonna lie, I'll be a little disappointed if I don't end up with at least 1 girl. there is already a lot of testosterone in this house and 3 little boys is a little hard to imagine.

  • @YankeePeach08, I think you could be my pregnancy twin. That described both of my pregnancies perfectly!

  • I think this LO is a girl. It just feels different for me and I am really sick. I also didn't think I could get pregnant because of when we had sex vs. when I ovulated so based on that it could increase my chance of a girl
I also have only had girl dreams.
If I am wrong oh well! I will be happy with whoever my baby is and whatever their parts.

  • This pregnancy is so different from my first that it seems like it must be a boy. Everything is opposite. Yet I always think of the baby as a girl. That might just be because I only have a girl and that's my default.
  • This is my first so I have no prior experience. We have had a girl's name (Nora) picked since before we were even trying to conceive. We have no clue still on a boy's name. So due to Murphy's law I think I am going to have a boy. We better get working on boy names.
  • I think it's a boy. I was certain DD was a girl and that the baby I lost was a boy (but I don't know if I was right on that one). I don't feel it quite as strongly this time, but I think because I compare symptoms rather than just tune into intuition. A few things are the same ( how I'm carrying, HR) but a lot of little things are different. Most of my planning is for a boy, but I'll be thrilled either way.

  • I'm a FTM so I have no experience to base anything off of but I think its a boy. I have had several dreams about having a boy and, I can't really put my finger on it, but I just feel like it is :)
