Dh let me go see the wizard of oz in IMAX yesterday. He watched the kids and ordered pizza for when I got home.

Mine has been great since Emily arrived a week ago

he is back at work but calls us throughout the day to check how we're doing. He has been doing most of the cleaning and changes diapers when he's home. Yey for all those man that step up to help

I have two:

Last Sunday DH kicked me out of the house. He said that he had things handled, I had pumped, so he sent me to get a mani/pedi.

Then last night DS didn't want to be out down so I hadn't eaten dinner. When he got home I had to feed DS, so DH made me dinner then took the baby and held him while I ate.

I've been sooo tired, and I don't sleep we'll at night, but DH never makes me feel bad about sleeping during the day and not getting a lot done. I really want the house clean before baby comes, and after working 10-12 hour days, he comes home and helps me without complaint. And often makes dinner. I love him.

I had a c section and for the first few nights, DH did everything with LO and just let me do the snuggly loving stuff so that I didn't miss out on time with her but could sleep and heal well before he went back to work. Seeing him with our baby melts my heart!

Also, because I couldn't reach during my first shower without excruciating pain, he washed my bum. Washed. My. Bum. Let that sink in. I'm lucky haha.

I already AWed mine for putting his mother gently in her place. My H is just awesome. He's so good with DD, he tells me all the time what a good mom I am and how well we're doing together, he's always on diaper duty during the day (feels bad since I'm EBFing and he can't help with feeding her)

He's just a champ. I'm happy I married him and had his baby

Every morning while he was home (and now on weekends), DH takes baby out to the living room after her last morning feed (between 7 and 8) and I go back to bed until her next feed. Those couple hrs without waking up to her every grunt or stir are glorious!

DH has been so helpful with everything since my c-section. He has really surprised me with how great he has been and I feel so lucky to have him.
Last night I let him sleep while I got up with LO. Normally he changes her and then I feed her. He was so appreciative that I woke up to breakfast in bed!

DH has done most of the diaper changes, and he burps him for me, he says since I'm EBFing he wants to do his part. He's been amazing. Plus he wakes up with LO at night and helps get me ready to BF.

Mine has been getting more and more awesome each day. At first I was worried because he was so apprehensive about holding her/changing her. But everyday he does more and more and the past few nights I don't know how I would have made it without him! Last night she was fussy and he was holding her and I heard him say, "What's the matter? Tell me what you want and I'll give it to you" in the sweetest voice. Melted my heart.

He has been so great the last few weeks of pregnancy and since I've been home with our LO. The first thing he did when I got home was run me an epson salt bath with candles everywhere. After the long birth I had it was so nice to come home to be pampered.

I never have to get up at night and let the dog out. My husband also makes a point to rub my feet daily. I also had an amazing dinner this week... Just because. Overall, I really got a keeper.

While I was in bed rest before Alexis came my hubby was working 12 hour days and then cooking, cleaning and taking care of the kids when he got home. Definitely a big help even though a few of the meals were not the best ... It was Awesome

FYI he also painted my toe nails for me twice lol

DH was amazing throughout the pregnancy. Now in the 5 weeks since she's been born, he's been great too. He gives me breaks when he gets home from work each day and really takes over on nights and weekends. Here's a cute picture of the two of them playing last night.

Let's see.. What doesn't DH do for me? I have so much to be appreciative of I wouldn't know where to start. Last night my lungs started hurting (my cold has evolved into a sinus infection and I was worried I was getting pneumonia again) so I just got quickly in bed and laid there, useless. He brought me my prenatal, cold water, and even a pan to throw up in because my HB was so bad. It's always little stuff like this! But I'm so grateful that he does it without batting an eye. It's like I wont feel so disabled during PP recovery because he's gonna take good care of me.

Last year we were in a rough spot and when he came home from work he would pretty much ignore me and we'd just do our separate things. Ever since several months ago, even after he gets off a long shift and he's grumpy, he's so grateful and happy to be home he gives me a kiss first thing in the door. I look forward to this every night!

He had to get up at 6:15 for work this morning, but we stayed up late last night playing video games. He bought me candy at the store. (Cadbury has their Halloween version of their eggs out. Yes!!!!!)

I was pretty miserably sick yesterday after my appointment. I came straight home and got in bed. I left quite the mess. I didn't bring up laundry, I didn't pick up or do the dishes. He got home from work and took care of it. Loppy said it best... He didn't even complain.

I could probably think of a thousand things more. I've got one in a million.

My DH has been awesome in the MOTN. When it's hard to get her to go back down after a feeding, he'll take DD out into the living room and rock and sway her until she falls asleep so that I can sleep in peace in the bedroom. He often gets up with her in the AM on days he doesn't have to work and plays with her so I can get a couple of more hours of sleep.

He also makes dinner almost every night, and whenever he is home he is always fetching me water and food while I nurse. He's a champ.

I honestly don't know how ladies do this with a lazy husband.

My husband is all around amazing but he really takes the cake now. My mom passed away in 2011 before our wedding and has missed these big moments in my life. Having a daughter has been such an amazing experience and something I would've loved sharing with her. She was an amazing grandmother to my nieces and nephews and would've been in love with this little girl just as much if not more because I was her little girl and we were best friends. Well he snuck in my cards I saved and found one from her with her signature and got it turned into a necklace so she's always close to my heart. Needless to say I balled my eyes out. He is just the best!

He has taken care of almost all the diaper changes, owns bath time with the LO, has been cooking and grocery shopping, which is huge for him as he has really bad PTSD and the store typically upsets him. During the night he gets up and changes her diaper before brings her to me in bed to BF.

He was so excited that I finally started pumping and that he got to give the first bottle yesterday. It made me bawl it was so cute. Just when I think my hormones are back in control.,.

Last night was our first night home with the baby. I didn't get any sleep in the hospital, and I had really bad pregnancy insomnia, so I haven't slept well in a while. Last night he took complete baby duty while I slept better than I have in months.

When I woke up this morning and went into the living room it was so sweet to see him cuddling with Molly on the couch watching football.

@msronzio and @jenny5o5!he's so wonderful I am beyond blessed. My mom loved him to death and was so happy knowing we were going to be married. She used to tell me she was going to steal him off of me. He knew how much it's hurt to not have her here that he wanted to make sure I didn't forget she's always with me. Best ever. 8->

I've been avoiding responding to this thread for a couple of days. I feel that DH has been so lovely that I can't adequately put it into words. Seeing him and the baby together is so precious. There are too many things that he does to be able to write them down. Just this morning, I got up with DD at 4am, she nursed for 15 minutes on each side, and fell asleep on my lap or shoulder but would not sleep in her crib in her room. I took her back into our room at 7am to sleep in her pack n play. She slept for a few minutes and woke up. I was so tired. DH got up with her and I got to sleep until 10am.

I feel like anything I say that he does will be "well, he's her dad and he's doing what he should be doing." But, to me, it doesn't make it any less amazing of him to be doing those things. In the same way, when I get up with her in the middle of the night and am able to calm her down, or other things like that, he tells me what an amazing mama I am :x

We are just a bowl fully of happy over here ;;)
