It's almost 10:30 here so thought I would start tonight.

DD put up a fight going to sleep tonight which isn't her normal self. She finally was out at 8:30 but then woke up 2 hours later which is also strange. Great. Hope this isn't a sign of the night to come.

LO has fought sleep all damn day. I got him to sleep for almost 30 minutes, but then I tried to set him in the swing so I could get another beer and BAM. Wide awake.

My favorite ice cream is green tea. Yummmmm!

Today was a killer! DS was whiny and fighting sleep all day. Poor guy is going through a GS and is constantly needing to be held and comforted! He is sleep now so we will see how it goes.

QOTD: my favorite ice cream is chocolate chip cookie dough (God this sounds wonderful but my diet won't allow).

We've had a similar day... Short naps here and there but no real sleep. Now we've gone through the bed time routine and what is usually instant sleep for LO... We are on the third try of soothe to sleep. She is fighting it hard core today and tonight. Hoping once she finally goes down, she stays asleep for a good stretch.

Favorite ice cream: Ben and Jerry Americone Dream. Normal flavor- cookies and cream. :-)

@turtlemomma can't say I have heard of that flavor!

DD ate a little bit but she felt pretty warm and it is warm in here tonight so now she is just in the miracle blanket and socks. I think sleeping in the RnP makes her warmer too. She fell asleep almost right when I put her back down so maybe that was the cure.

DH has the next feeding so hopefully I won't be back for like 6 hours. Ha! We'll see...

Just put LO down, today was rough so I am hoping she stays down and gives me a good stretch. About a half hour before she went down this time I attempted to put her down and she ended up spitting up all over her sheet in her crib. We changed the sheet, wiped her down, and got her into a fresh onsie and diaper, hoping the rest of the night is uneventful.

Favorite ice cream is chocolate chip cookie dough, but during the holidays I LOVE Pumpkin ice cream from Trader Joe's.

DD has eaten every half hour for the past few hours. If I am lucky, she will give me a very long stretch tonight.

My fav ice cream is an M&M blizzard. But if you are talking whats in the freezer I would have to say chocolate chip.

Still trying to get lo down. It's been a rough day. Her naps were all messed up...too short. Right now we're listening to the noise of a thunderstorm on my white noise app. She's slowly fading just hoping she stays asleep. This'll be try number 2 to put her in her swing.

Still dealing with LO's cold.

It's breaking my heart! She woke up early this morning because she was coughing, and it scared both her and I, so I got up and had her sleep on me so that I could assure that she was okay. All day, she's wanted to nurse like crazy, and when she isn't nursing, she wants her paci, but it falls out of her mouth and then she goes crazy.

She nursed about 30 minutes ago, I'm hoping that I can try to nurse her again in an hour or so, and rock her to sleep. I am crossing my fingers that she can get some good, restful sleep tonight so she can start to feel better.

Favorite Ice Cream: Anything with cinnamon!

I just did the first feeding and put her in the pnp. I'm hoping we have a good night. Dh is working until tomorrow at 5pm and I am bringing both girls to see my friends horse. Dd1 is really excited she loves going there and riding the horse. It's an hour away though and I have to leave by 9:30 so it will definitely be challenging to get them out of the house on time.

My favorite ice cream flavor is chocolate chip.

Dh is on baby duty all night! LO took a 5 hour nap from 5-10pm today. I kept telling dh to wake her up but he wanted to let her sleep. It will be interesting to see how that goes....for dh that is.

Today was a little tough for me as well. LO went over 5 hours awake and didn't want to be put down. Just when I thought she was drifting off and would try to put her in her swing she'd wake up and scream. So I spent the day holding her, which wasn't torture by any means but my ass and arms are sore. H was totally useless when he came home. He held her after I fed her and they both fell asleep but she woke up about an hour later and started crying. He didn't wake up, I had to go over to him and shake him awake and nag him that I didn't like him holding her when he is sleeping.

I think my favorite ice cream is Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup. Yum!

ILs first full day visiting and both LOs slept well! DS2 and I fell asleep in our room at about 8:30 and I didn't go back out to talk or watch tv because I didn't want to spend the evening with MIL in the living room. Now at 11:30 and feed #1, I've had about 2.5 hours of sleep.

QOTN: chocolate or mint chocolate chip. Depends in the quality of the ice cream. As an aside tried Trader Joe's pumpkin ice cream this week. It is not super sweet and has a good flavour overall, but I didn't think there was enough spice (nutmeg and allspice) for me to consider it amazing or something to buy again. Overall rating, it was OK.

Had a good productive day here. Cleaned bathrooms, scrubbed floors, vacuumed, laundry, dishes. We had to buy a new bed for the little girls and put their full size in reeds room

Hoping tonight was like last night. He slept from 7 to 11 and then 12 to 8 am. It was amazing!

Today we got out for some shopping with a girlfriend and her 2 year old daughter. I'm exhausted. Feeding DD and hoping she goes down easily.

DS had an awesone day today. Very little crying, a fantastic midday nap, and lots of happy awake time. After dinner I was about to give him his bath and start his bedtine routine when DH said he wanted to go see his grandparents who live up the street for a little bit. I should not have gone, but I did, DS screamed for an hour after we got home. Finally got him down and he woke up 30 minutes later. Nursing and rocking him again now. Hopefully he'll settle down and have a good night!

My favorite ice cream is Peanut Butter and Chocolate from Baskin Robbins. But I also love plain old Vanilla with Hershey's syrup. I've been having a bowl every night since around the end of 1st trimester and I don't plan to stop anytime soon!

DS slept a lot during the day but then wouldn't go to sleep tonight. DH had to hold him until he fell asleep. DS had another cluster feed afternoon, too so I was basically attached to him from 3:00 on. We gave him a pumped bottle after 10 so hopefully he's down for a while. DH is in charge of overnight feedings/changes through I'll still get up to pump.

My favorite ice cream is chocolate peanut butter.

DS has been fussy all day. He has barely slept at all. I put him down earlier in his crib and he slept for maybe an hour (which is the longest today so far). So I got him and we cuddled and I rocked him to sleep again. Just put him in his rnp so maybe that will do the trick. I'm starting to think he may have occasional silent reflux. Any of you other moms out there have any experience with that??

QOTD: favorite ice cream is banana pudding. yum...might make DH go to the kitchen and get me some.

p.s. Every time I have to spell the word banana I have to sing the Gwen Stefani song in my head!! This s*** is bananas B-A-N-A-N-A-S

LO has been more fussy than happy today which is a little unusual, he eats short and often normally so not sure if its a growth spurt or not. I'm also having to coax him to latch with a pacifier which is strange and kind of worries me that he's not going to want to nurse all together soon. Any advice? He's falling asleep with a paci in DH's arms so we'll see how long he sleeps and how well he nurses once he wakes up.

QOTN: favorite is either cold stone cake batter or Hagen Daz vanilla.

LO is asleep in her rnp. I tried getting SO to dtd but I guess he didn't want to even though its been almost three weeks.

( ugh it feels so crappy when he turns me down.

DS was needy all day just wanting fed or cuddles. I don't mind although I feel lazy since I was basically stuck to the couch. LO was sweating being held so I'm guessing the moby would have been worse but will try it tomorrow if it's the same deal. Just finished pumping and eating some peanut butter captain crunch. Hoping DS stays asleep for a while.

Fav ice cream is brusters choc chip cookie dough!

My inlaws don't understand that we have a routine.
I had to practically rip LO out of their arms after they wouldn't give him up past his bedtime. To make matters worse they woke him up and he didn't go down for another hour. I hope he isn't screwy with us tonight since he's off his usual schedule (he's been really good at setting and keeping his own bed time).

Favorite ice cream:
Cookies & cream although I love me some plain french vanilla.

Motn feeding #1. DS2 was great all day, until dinner when he started fussing. Dh held him for a hot minute & then put him in the pnp b/c he wouldn't stop crying. So annoying!
I love ice cream! Ben & Jerry's Chubby Hubby and Cold Stone's cinnamon are among my favorites.

If I hear one more passive aggressive comment from a family member on how I need to just let LO "cry it out" I'm gonna lose my shit. No, I don't know why he's crying, and no, I'm not gonna let him wear himself out in his crib. This isnt 19friggin82.
Sorry ladies! (For the record he's currently happily swaddled and sleeping like a champ in his crib).

I was gonna say my favorite ice cream is the good old green mint chocolate chip, But when Ben & Jerry's gets brought into the mix i have to go with Half Baked. Yum yum!

DD just finally went down after hours of soothing, nursing, and comfort sucking on the boob. I am so tired. I really hope she gives us a good stretch.

DH makes gelato, and my fave is salted caramel, but I also love chocolate.

Recovering from today's gallbladder removal, so DH is on duty with LO and I am alternating between sleeping and being awake. I'm not allowed to pick up LO for 48 hours, so I feel kind of helpless. I miss not being able pick pick her up and snuggle whenever I want. Gotta wait for DH to get her to snuggle. Oh well.

Remember how last night a lot of the DH's were not our favorites? Well last night my DH was ok.. Tonight he pissed me the hell off, over and over. I seriously need him to step it up or I'm going to have a for real mental breakdown. I was officially diagnosed with ppd and separation anxiety and he talks like he really wants to help and is sounds so supportive.. But he doesn't do any actions to freaking do anything. He knows I'm stressed because the housework has been put off with everything going on with LO and myself... Yet he does zero cleaning unless I tell him step by step what I'd like his help with.

Then tonight we met halfway between our house and where he wanted to go for dinner, but I had to feed LO right about when we needed to meet. So I whipped it out in a parking lot. It's for me NIP is hard, but it's even harder in a car with a baby who can't bend his legs (stupid casts)! So while I'm awkwardly sitting in the car feeding him he has a huge blow out and pukes all over me. I text DH and told him what happened and he was dumb enough to want to introduce me to his coworkers he carpools with when they got there. Then he was a butt about ordering my dinner for me because I have celiac. I wanted him to order so I could go change LO, again.. But he wouldn't. Then he wanted to get ice cream and made me stand in line and order his!!! I know it's small, but it's all adding up and I'm seriously going to freak out.

Then I was excited to have a nice long shower after I fed LO, but I cleaned whole DH played on his phone. We're gonna have a MAJOR talk tomorrow.

Sorry for the vent and petty complaints, just needed to get it out. Hopefully tomorrow is better, and I get some sleep tonight.

6 week growth spurt here. So all day she was my little starving fussybutt. Down at 9 and this is our first feeding at 2:30. I was hoping for a last night repeat of a 8 hour stretch! Boo!

Haven't seen DS nearly all day. I've been in bed sick with mastitis and alternating fever/chills. Awesome.

Up every 2 hours to "empty breast" is almost too much to keep up with. Thank goodness my parents are here tonight to help.

ETA: cookie dough is where it's at.

Finished feeding DD & am pumping now. We traveled 2.5 hours to our hometown tonight. Our niece's bday party is today. All 3 LOs did great.

We got to my brither's house & DD1 was having a hard time breathing. She has allergies & they flared up. So DH took her to my ILs house & gave her a breathing treatment. She's been doing much better since then.

Edited to add ice cream: Love me some ice cream, but chocolate brownie or peanut butter chocolate are my favs. Yum!

DS was going his longest stretch between feedings. Except he's been extremely congested, so DH had woken up and was worried about him, so he woke the baby by using the aspirator on him. Then he fed him and is now changing his diaper so of corse for baby is screaming. And I'm now downstairs pumping. I have to call the doctor tomorrow about the congestion. DS keeps coughing when he can't breath through his nose.

We have colds here as well. Poor LO is too congested to take a pacifier, so he nursed most of the evening. However, he then slept for 7 hours! Luckily he hasn't been running a fever, just congestion and coughing.

DD is on day 6 of the cold and seemed to be feeling better aside from the super runny nose today.

Favorite ice cream: Not really ice cream, but love B&J Frozen Greek Yogurt strawberry cheesecake. I had a serious addiction while pregnant.

Strange night for DD. finally asleep at 8:30, up at 10:30, 2:30 and now 4. I'm going to put her in the swing to hopefully get a couple more hours of sleep. I did get 6 hours of sleep but it was broken because of the 2:30 wake up for DH.

Morning ladies, I think we are past the 6 week growth spurt which was right after her wonder week. We got 5 a hour stretch tonight. She is still gas all day but I'm hoping its just peaking and it's downhill from here. In sitting here listening to her grunt/squeak/fart, have to be up at 5:30 this morning, I should be sleeping.
@tarapike I'm impressed at your productivity! My house is pretty messy but I did manage to make blueberry muffins last night

DS was only taking cat naps yesterday and wanted to be held all day. I thought he would be up all night like last night, but he just gave me two 4+hr stretches each. My boobs didn't enjoy it, but I'm glad I got some sleep.

I'm not a huge ice cream fan, but ate a fair share when I was pregnant. I have always liked rainbow sherbet and spumoni

3rd feeding of the night. I am so tired of lo's grunting! It's not him trying to poop. He is not congested... Just grunts through his nose and mouth. He sounds like a pig. It not only keeps him from sleeping but DH and I too. What the hell is up with the grunting!!?

Wow DS woke at 11 ate for a good 11 min- he's quick usually only eats for about 5- was out by 11:30 and just woke again at 4! Almost got 5 hours out of him. I woke up before he did and had to express some before he woke to feed. Now he's back out and hopefully for at least another couple hours. He usually wakes around 5:00ish even if he didnt get back to sleep until 3:30 But we'll see since he just fell back asleep at almost 4:30.

I just realized, he didnt eat more often yesterday still about the same but he ate for longer at each feed, so maybe he is going through his 6w growth spurt

Not really night time here any more, but it's my first time up since LO's 12:30 am feeding since DH took the 3:30 am feeding. We got a 3 hour stretch and then a 4 hour stretch, which isn't bad, but she had been doing one 5-6 hour stretch for about a week, so I'd like to get back to that!

My MIL arrives today for a 4 day stay (she and my FIL came up the day LO was born but could only stay 2 days). We get along really well, and she is great with babies (she now has 3 grandkids under 18 months), but I'm a little concerned that she is going to be upset if I retreat to the nursery/bedroom for DD's feedings. I'm just not comfortable whipping out my boobs in front of her; plus, I have to pump after almost every feeding and am only comfortable doing that in front of DH, my mom, or my sister.

QOTN: for a regular flavor, I'd say cookies & cream, but for a more specialty flavor, the "Green Monster" at a little place in my hometown (mint ice cream with Oreos and fudge).
