Quick help needed!

My husband took my little guy out of town. He's 16mo, but still nurses about 6 times per day. They've been gone for about 24 hours. For months I've either directly nursed, or used an Ameda Platinum because I work in a hospital.

Now I can't empty my breasts! I've tried my Ameda double electric, a hand pump, and hand expressing. I still feel full, and I can feel little tender bumps all over my breasts. I need suggestions. They won't be home until Sunday, so I need to fix this!

    Heat packs, nice hot shower, serious massage (when I have a plugged duct and can feel a lump, I have to massage HARD to get rid of it).  Also, looking at pictures/videos of LO while you're pumping...  

    Were you pumping without issue and then suddenly after 24 hours you aren't getting anything?  Or is it the first time since they left that you've tried to pump?

    It's the first time I've tried to not use a hospital grade pump since they left. I fed him at 11pm last night. I went in to work at 5am and pumped there all day. Then I came home and tried to pump at 6pm and again at 10pm with no luck.

    The pump is ok. I use the same tubing and membranes at work and don't have a problem. And it's definitely not too high because I use the hospital pump at 70% suction all the time.

    I'll try a hot bath. Baby is already asleep for the night.
